• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks for the tip. Something I may do in the near future. I like the name too.

Do you take the wheel off or the fender off to install these?

FOBO-Bike TPMS system on a Spyder

I stayed with the stock rubber stems based on previous advice from others on SL and they have worked fine. The FOBO devices are very light, and they are big enough that if there were enough centrifugal forces to bend the rubber stem, they would hit the wheel rim before the rubber stems bent far...

    New SpyderLovers Sponsor- WGT

Hyper Flash I recently installed these on my 14 RTL and they did cause a fast flash on both sides. Easily reset to normal flash using the programming capability of the 2014s.

Is this a decent deal? Newbies buying there first Spyder.

I agree. Seems a little bit high. Not sure what the market says right now, but I paid about $26k for my 2014 RTL when it was brand new in 2014. Great byke, but you should be able to get it for under $20K.

Videos for LED Strip Thanks for the videos. That certainly helps to get a better perspective on the increased visibility. I think I will be ordering a kit soon.

    New SpyderLovers Sponsor- WGT

You have my attention now. I'm interested. Is there a chance you could post a video of what these look like from the driver's seat as well as from the left or right rear of the bike (as though you're a vehicle coming up from behind) so we can see what they look like?

    Zumo tire pressure monitoring caps

I don't have the Zumo, but I have the FOBOBike TPMS (http://www.fobobikesales.com/index.php). It works off your smartphone, not your GPS. I love it. Easy to install. Seems accurate. Will send a warning to your phone (and into your helmet if you have BT) if the pressure falls below a...

    Spyder changes coming!

Thank you very much for the insight. Hopefully Spyder sales and support will increase in the coming years. More interest may equal more sales which will increase dealerships and hopefully service quality.

Nice ryde! I'm not looking for one, but I drove one for a brief period just today. You're certainly right about the power!

How much does a $12 part really cost?

That's a funny story! I would hate to see what $50 part would cost you.

I tore my Spyder apart (and lived to tell the tale)

I like the words of encouragement for those of us who have been a little...well, afraid. I've had mine about half apart, but not all the way yet. And there are still a few things I want to do. Your story was a good one, but I can't help but think the picture of all your parts spread out on...

    My sixteen minutes of Spyderquest.

Love it! Nice camera and editing work, and very clear video when bumped up. I wasn't able to go this year, but this gives me the proper motivation to make it happen next year. Thanks for sharing.

    Dash Bolts?

Thanks Finless That's an interesting solution. Thanks for the suggestion. I may look into that...since I'm missing one anyway.

    Dash Bolts?

This is why I love Spyderlovers!! Thanks everyone for all the advice and guidance - same day service too. I really appreciate it. I will head to my local hardware stores and see if I can find these tomorrow. I was riding today and saw that one was mysteriously missing from my dash. No work...

    Dash Bolts?

Thanks! Thanks folks. Looked just where Ann pointed and found that yes, they are the Torx, M5x14. I'll hunt them down at cheapcycleparts. Really appreciate the quick help...and I'll check the parts list first next time.
