• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installing the Baja Ron Sway Bar on a 2015 RT

Baja Ron's instructions are great. Easy install and while you have the RT off the ground, install a bumpskid from Spyderpops.

Installing rts saddlebag side marker lights

I agree with Bob and I installed bag lights from Custom Dynamics. Straightforward instructions, a little drilling to run the wires and dis-assembly / re-assembly of the bag panels and rear panels on the RT. Took about an hour of my cheap labor. :D

What gas does the Spyder take???

Hi Octane with additive I always run 91-93 Octane in my 1330 and my wife's 998. Its hard to find gas w/o 10% ethanol. I also religiously add 1oz. of Liquid Performance synthetic fuel treatment to each tank. Stops ethanol problems and makes a big difference in performance, slightly in...

    Battery Tender Question

Have a Battery Tender Jr on the 12v plug on my 15 RTS-S . Never any issues. Have BT's newest 5.0a charger/tender unit on my wife's STL on the 12v which has blown the F7 fuse once because the tender was plugged in when I mistakenly inserted the cig lighter plug. Reversing the order works...

    Rock -splash guard fabrication

With $6. worth of black .06 KYDEX 8x12" sheets and a 250 degree oven, I was able to fabricate 2 mud flaps for my RT and wife's ST in about an hour. They work great and don't look too shabby either.

12v outlet in frunk has no power

Yes, have tried a 12V air compressor with a cigarette adapter. Works fine on my RT. dead as a doornail on the ST. The workaround is to attach the BTender harness directly to the battery, but I would like to have a working 12V outlet. Removing the entire frunk assembly sounds like a PITA but...

12v outlet in frunk has no power

Took delivery of a new blue 2015 ST-LTD last week. Tried to hook a battery tender with a cigarette lighter connection to the 12v outlet in the frunk and no power. Changed the 5A fuse, tried both F6 (switched) and F7 (unswitched) for the fuse and nothing. Any ideas how to get to the wiring to...

Considering a new ST Limited? Better get moving...

All, Thanks for your comments [emoji3] First trick is to get the bike out the door for under 19K. Dealers told me they weren't even going to see the F3/T/LTD in any volume for a couple of months. Doubt if you're going to see them for that price anytime soon. True the 998 maybe...

Considering a new ST Limited? Better get moving...

Just wanted to share my thoughts on just completing my purchase of a new 2015 ST-LTD for my wife. Looking for a winter deal on a discontinued model? Forget it. I could only find about 20 or so new bikes 2014,2015 within a 250mi radius of DC metro. All but 2 dealers were selling their last...

    Removing battery 2014 rts

You can avoid the hassle and use the 12v plug in the back with an adaptor for your tender and by moving one fuse in the fuseblock upfront so that the plug is unswitched rather than a switched circuit. Lamonster has a video on how to do this Sent from my SCH-I915 using Tapatalk

What if the ST model is discontinued?

ST and Limited gone from the 2016 lineup. only the ST-S remains but for how long? Looks like their sport touring future is based on the F3. Sent from my SCH-I915 using Tapatalk

    Bumpskid

True I am happywith my led bumpskid as well had to drill 9 holes (7 in plastic and 2 in metal) The nose has to be lifted quite high to do this. Wiring was a snap Routing the wires to the connector near the inside of the right wheel was another Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk
