• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Aggressive riding in the curves question

I had Ron's sway bar and shock adjusters. Last year I went up into South Dakota. I knew that I had really pushed it on my '14 RTL when the morning after I got home both front tires were flat. After that, my wife was not comfortable with it . It was a great ride. Yes it was. I never had the...

    RT Sway Bar?

I ran my '14 RTL 9000 miles without BajaRon's swaybar, then over 9000 miles with it. When I installed the swaybar, I also installed Ron's shock adjusters to get the front end off the ground. I can say that the difference before and after the swaybar change was night and day. My Spyder was...

    Damn Rain

Down south and over around the St. Louis metro are still having some water issues. Interstates 44 and 55 are back open. I am outside of Kansas City and our ground is really dry again. We are supposed to get rain Wednesday and Thursday. It shouldn't be enough to do any flooding. The past...

    SPYDERFEST

Sorry for the disappointment. Got a feeling that the CanAm Homecoming has an affect on Spyderfest this year. A lot of folks are saving up to go to the Homecoming event because of vacation times and fun funds available.

    Higher ground....

The pictures appear to be of the Beaver Bridge that is north of Eureka Springs on Hiway 187. They are driving from east to west. The flood picture is looking east.

    Drink holder

I had a '14 RTL and rather than a drink holder on the handlebars, I found a bottle holder that had a strap around my neck worked best. Mine is insulated and keeps my water cool when going down the road.

    She's Home

:congrats: And don't hold on so tight. You will find that a lighter touch on the controls will enhance the ride.

    3000 mile checkup costs?

Mine was $262 March of '15 on a '14 RTL. My '17 Harley TriGlide was just over $500 last month.

    Many Bulgaries at Spyderfest!

Maybe being proactive and taking everything that is of value to you in your room will go along ways. I never leave anything of value in my bike when parked at a motel. That being said, it is sad that we have to do that. I would think that anytime a motel has a large group come in that provide...

    Parking where I work.....

I guess the good thing is that everyone with a motorcycle gets to park out where there is no protection from the elements.:dontknow:

    PLEASE HELP

My wife went through this when I had my first Harley. New parts were showing up all the time. The only time she got freaked out was when I changed out the sway bar. My new trike doesn't even raise an eyebrow. I just keep her in books, bee and cigarettes.:roflblack:

    Hug those blind corner shoulders

I don't think skill-set or ability had anything to do with it. I have seen people in cars and motorcycles both cut corners. They do it till they get a wake-up call. Sometimes that call is costly.

    RT 1330 MPG ??

In the 18,600 that I rode my '14 RTL, I saw 41 mpg one time. I normally got around 34-37 mpg riding solo. A few times I only got around 32 mpg. Really didn't put a lot of thought into it. I just rode and figured the gas may be how I was riding along with the wind, terrain, speed, etc.. Keep...

2016 RT Limited hard to hold on highway

Had this issue with my '14 RTL. Mike is right on with the tires. I got a new pair at 400 miles under warranty. The original pair each had an unbelievable amount weights on each wheel (one had 17, the other 11). A new pair of tires, although still Kendas did improve the situation. A laser...

VIDEO: Biggest Exhaust test Akrp vs Stock vs Lamonstr Pipe ON/OFF

I know a 2009 Electra Glide Classic and a 2017 Tri Glide Ultra that are still 100% stock. Harley made changes to their OEM exhaust systems that are loud enough to satisfy many riders. Not so rare anymore.
