• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My latest film on my spyder

This is a film of my ride to work. Taken at 06:30 on a sunday morning. No traffic, warm and sunny. I ride through a couple of villages to a little town called lillestrøm where i work. Its one of my favoritt little rides and one i do a lot. As there was no traffic I managed a very quick twist of...

A ride in a typical southern Norwegian fishing village.

Usually the houses are painted various colours over here. Risør is nick named the white house town. Something they have done in the past and they kept up the tradition.

    Spyder fun.

I have to say that I always try to ride respectful of others and in a responsible way. 99% of the time I abide the laws of the road and am pround of that. I am sure though that the majority of us will agree that we have to make the most of some of the opportunities we get to enjoy our selves. I...

    Riding in Oslo, Norway.

I have to admitt that I am an old fashioned country boy and am not in big cities very often. I was quite excited to go for a ride to Oslo, Norways capital and biggest city. It is known for not being very traffic friendly as most cities are. Oslo was nightmare and a hassle. The sign posts were...

A ride in a typical southern Norwegian fishing village.

I took a 4 hour ride to a little village called Risør on the south coast of norway. It's a super cozy place with cute cottages, small streets, nice restaurants and a harbour. Unfortunately the day I had my gopro on was the same day they had an arts and crafts market by the harbour. This meant...

    Noticed a leakage today.

After an hours ride I found the same oil leakage again. The bike has a guarantee, so I thought what the heck and drove it 2 hours to the dealer. They used 2 hours to change the gasket on the banjo bolt and that's it definitely fixed now. Rode it for 2 hours home again and absolutely no leakage...

    Electric Spyders on the way

If an electric version of the spyder comes out and looks like it does in the picture, then I'd buy one.

    Noticed a leakage today.

I took the plastic covers off my spyder today and it looks like the oil was coming from the banjo bolt. I managed to tighten it an entire full turn with out much effort at all. I then took a little ride up and down the street a few times and checked again after. No oil coming out now. Seems like...

    Noticed a leakage today.

Thanks for the tip. I'll absolutely check that bolt. I just checked my oil level and it's right up to the full mark. I saw the bolt you mentioned through a gap in the plastic from under the bike. This weekend I'll take off the plastic on that side and check it out. Make sure everything is tight...

    Noticed a leakage today.

Sounds like you really should do it. Embrace your viking blood my friend. Would be an amazing adventure and probably an emotional one for you personally. Back in the day there were many Norwegian people who sailed across to the states. The history is here and should be easily accessible when...

    Noticed a leakage today.

Thank you so much. Feel much better about the whole situation now. I've spoken with the can-am workshop on the phone now. He was unfortunately driving a car when I rang. He said he will check up what work they did on it in December and then book me in for a check up when he gets back to the...

    Noticed a leakage today.

Oh I did not know that. Just to make sure I understand correctly. The engine oil is the same oil for the gear box and clutch. As long as the oil level is within the correct recommend level it should be safe to ride with the leak. I was scared the gear box would empty and I'd destroy the gear...

    Nice ride today in norway.

Here's the link to the video on youtube. I'm afraid there are no mountains or fjords on this trip. It's just a view from my helmet on some country roads. I'll upload some trips in the summer when I cross mountains and see the views of norway later. https://youtu.be/48lS9sLfCYk

    Noticed a leakage today.

Thank you very much for your informative reply. Sounds a bit like I'll be ringing the workshop who serviced everything in December. Don't want the gear box to empty out of oil. I'm sure all the work they did is under guaranty. I'm saddened to hear you were fed fish sticks on your trip to...

    Noticed a leakage today.

Was on a 200km ride today with very variable riding. When I got home I noticed this leak in the photos. It's on the right hand side as I sit on the bike down by my right foot. Not sure if I'm leaking oil or sweating horse power. Either way I don't know what it is. Any one of ya'll had this...

    Nice ride today in norway.

Hahaha one way ticket to hell. Norway is actually really big. Takes two days to drive from south to north. Hell is in Trondheim area, about 6 to 7 hours from me. Its actually a quiet rural area. Best thing is the sign post when you enter saying your in Hell. The best ride is from Bergen to Oslo...

    Nice ride today in norway.

Just a few hours and 200km ride today. Lovely country roads with lots of turns and amazing views. Had two other bikes for company. Will edit and set out a video of the ride on YouTube later.
