• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Info that might help when replacing front sprocket!

Thank you for the information, and I totally agree that we should all be on the same page. Unfortunately, BRP does not seem to agree. Every online parts fiche I can find does NOT show the front sprocket as having a washer.

Info that might help when replacing front sprocket!

I have worked on this particular bike, and many others over the years. I made it very obvious that I cannot "clear" the recall. However, that said, even now the parts catalogs do NOT show the silver sprocket WITH a washer. And as further proof that something is askew at BRP, the 2020 and up 1330...

Info that might help when replacing front sprocket!

Not wanting to wait the month a local dealer told him it would take to do the front sprocket recall, a friend asked me to replace it. I've already done 4 or 5 replacements, and found that some will slide right off, and others will bind up on the shaft. This one would not come off easily. Rather...

What is correct front suspension A arm attitude?

You're correct in that the RT series does not have adjustable front shocks like the F3. With the RT, the only suspension "adjustment" is through the rear air bag system. The base models are manually set based on rider weight; the Limited models prior to 2020 models have a "hard/soft" switch to...

He did eventually get the grips and switch and the dealer installed them. It's only recently that he decided to add the front Auxiliary Light and we found the wiring was missing.

Anyone else found an RT without the wire for lower front Auxiliary light?

UPDATE!! The bike did not have the wire installed from the factory. My friend allowed the dealer to fabricate a wire to the front aux light and all is well with him now. This bike came from the factory without the pax heated grips and switch and now this. I wonder what else might be missing?

Stuck fog light switch - any tricks, or new switch needed?

Do a quick internet search for, "Carling Actuator Tool". They are about $5. Use one to remove the switch actuator (cap) and see if debris got underneath before replacing the entire switch. The switch is the Carling Contura series.
