• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The plug cover is for the wiring disconnect when the rear topcase is removed.

When, if ever, was a belt dampener factory-installed on F3?

I added a bunch of accessories to a friends' new 2023 F3L Special Series today. No factory idler installed.

What does check DPS mean ?

Like Ron said above, the DPS is extremely power hungry. Per the shop manual peak current draw can be up to 60 amps.

Has anybody heard any rumors on the 2025 Spyder Models? New line-up released!

I'd like to see the British Racing Green that they put on certain 23 Seadoos. Oh, and Android Auto (that works)

Installed SpyderExtras Billet Aluminum Handlebar Riser Kit - not comfortable??

Something else to consider is that all of the available optional handlebars for the F3 will fit on your 24 RT. For my needs, the F3 Attitude bars brought them back just enough, but the biggest comfort increase is the much different wrist angle with these bars. This is without any riser...

How to disable DESS using BUDS? Any Step-by-Step Procedures?

Ris, for your year Spyder you must use the original BUDS. For 2017 and newer BUDS2 is needed. Simply start the BUDS program, go to the "keys" tab. On the right side in the Anti-Theft system box, select the drop-down arrow and switch DESS off. Before quitting the BUDS program, click on the "Write...

Cruise Control Headache (RTS) - Goes ON, but will not engage! Any ideas?

Does anyone have any troubleshooting suggestions for a 2014 RTL that will not allow the cruise control to engage? I'm working on a friends' bike. The cruise control will turn on and indicate "on" in the cluster. However, when I try to engage it by pressing the button down at speeds above 25, it...

Button, button, who's got the button? Lost the Turn Signal Button!

It's possible that your bike had one of the original 3d printed buttons from this source. We had one fall off also, and a replacement was sent right away! Great customer service. His "new & improved" version works very well!

My 2020 RT-L is throwing a VSS Code on starting - could this be a weak Battery?

If that's the only time you get the fault, then yes, that is most probably the cause. 3-4 years is about the expected life span for the batteries they are using now. If that is the original battery, it doesn't owe you anything.

Any reason NOT to buy a 2012 RT Limited?

How do I get Google Maps to show on the screen? 2021 RT-L

As of now, there is no way. Using the BRP Go app, there are mapping apps available, but not Google. Since the 2024 Spyders are supposed to have Apple Car Play, (though it's not working yet) perhaps in the future BRP will add Android Auto.

2024 RT new issue - music going silent once the bike starts!!

I don't have an iPhone or a 2024 Spyder, but I've seen a similar issue on some friends' bikes. Do you by chance have BRP Go installed on your phone? If so, try uninstalling it and see if you can then get music to play...

How can I confirm s/ware updates on Pre-purchase checklist were done?

Just to help clarify this discussion, your Spyder has numerous computers (modules) installed, and they each have separate firmware and software codes. I know it's not practical for every owner to have BUDS/BUDS2, but, each dealer should have it. When you/or the technician, connect BUDS, (BUDS2...

No Reverse; Fault Codes: P0720 & P0740 - anyone else? Fixes?

I've had to change to reverse actuator on a friends' 2023 RT. You can verify its' operation yourself, (with a helper), by looking underneath the left hand side of the Spyder while your helper tries to shift into reverse. The actuator is mounted in a bracket that is at an angle, and is the lowest...

My solution to the Bajaron Ultra sway-bar 'clunk'!

I'd like to add my two cents worth to this thread. First off, let me say that I am a huge fan of ALL of Ron's products and have them on my Spyder. I have installed numerous anti-sway bars; both the original, and the Ultra. In my travels, I have seen two of the Ultra equipped Spyders develop a...
