• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Depending on which wires are damaged, great care must be taken to repair any wiring that is part of the CANBUS system.

    BUDS/BUDS2 Mini VCI Driver Conflicts!

So the latest version of BUDS2 released 09Aug23 (23.2.1 A6CC Update) was acting a little squirrely. I had a lot of difficulty connecting to a 2023 RTL. BUDS2 kept insisting it couldn't find the VCI device, even though it was showing me all the screens. So I downloaded and installed the latest...

Brake failure warning on 2021 RTL

The 2020 and newer are not as susceptible to the low fluid level as the earlier models. However, 2020 through some 2022 models have a brake switch that is prone to failure and has an active recall. This switch has two separate circuits. One is for the brake lights, and the other informs the...

GBPS Initialization Reset Failed TIMEOUT - Help?

Were you able to confirm that the transmission was actually in neutral before starting the reset procedure? I would raise the rear wheel, release the parking brake, then spin the rear wheel by hand and attempt the procedure again. You MAY have to do all that and then completely start over with...

What is your F3 Passenger seat locking pin orientation?

Not sure what you are asking here. I've dealt with both of those seats. From your photos, it looks like the pin lengths are different. You just need to adjust the pin length so that the seat latches correctly. By correctly, I mean that if too loose, it will rattle up and down. Too tight, and it...

How do I know for sure I have functioning ABS & VSS?

Check for the possibility that when you hit the brakes that hard, that your battery didn't shift and cause a momentary short. Other than most of the methods mentioned above, the only real way to confirm operation of these protection circuits is with BUDS.

Anyone using the updated BRP GO app?

My point exactly. Why should I have to choose between one or the other? There's no reason why they couldn't display the tach and the speedo together on the left half.

F3 Base conversion to 2-up - can I buy just passenger footpegs?

If you don't go the official Can Am route, be sure to upgrade the rear shock also. The stock one on a base F3 is meant for one riders' worth of weight only. You may be able to find aftermarket pegs only.

Anyone know the BUDS procedure for resetting GBPS?

Go to Settings, ECM tab, ECM First Initialization, and click "reset". Follow ALL screen prompts after that.

Anyone using the updated BRP GO app?

I wish that using BRP GO or Connect wouldn't take away the tachometer.

2014 RTL slow clutch engagement when cold

If it's not an issue with incorrect oil, then a quick hookup to BUDS and letting it "re-learn" the clutch engagement point will cure it.
