• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Yesterdays Gremlins!

I will have to check my manual on the mode button/radio issue and try it if that is the case. I have a fan that kicks in for 20-30 seconds after I shut down the bike, but that is way louder sound then what I'm hearing, and it goes for a lot longer. Will check into this solenoid. Never no what...

    Tis The Season .....

I use simple green. Spray it on my bike parts, let it set for about 15-20 minutes, warm soapy water and soft sponge. The simple green seems to soften up the baked on splattered bugs.

    Motorcycles don't wave back.

Waving is like saying "Hi" to someone you meet on the side walk. Some say "Hi" back and others act like your not even there. But it is always cool when kids wave at to let you know that they have seen you. Just enjoy the ride.

    Garage door opener.

I've had a door opener on my Honda for 15 years. Zip tied to the handle bar. Only need to change out the battery once in a while. I've also had a MP player on my Honda. First one lasted 8 years, on my second one.

Minnesota weather Just got my Spyder out yesterday. Got some grief about it. 42 degrees when I left in the am with rain clouds rolling in. I was informed that it was going to rain from 10 am til noon. Silly them. I was working during those hours, not riding. Skipped out of work early...

    Garage door opener.

Thanks for the idea. Used your idea and worked out great. Didn't have to modify anything on the bike, just the remote bracket. Bernie

    Garage door opener.

Thanks for the great input of ideas. I ended up modifying the remote clip that usually attaches to the visor of your auto. I worked great tucked into the "Start up" pull-out instructions that are tucked into the instrument pod. Used a little double faced tape to secure it into place. Easy...

    maintenance Advice

I purchased a low mile bike myself. The first break-in period maintenance per the manual said to have everything checked out at 1600 mile. That's what I did. Fresh oil change, checked all fluids, tires, any recalls, checked codes etc. Took it to a dealer. My cost was $285.00. Glad I had...
