• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Incredible Unbelievable! Thanks for sharing that. I can't imagine what that must be like, except for the anxiety of just watching this video.

    HUGE difference with SmoothSpyder...

Thanks, Mike. I did try that several times. My shop is very good and they don't charge me for every little thing (i.e. adjustments). They want me as a happy customer. We just could not find the sweet spot for my comfort. The belt tensioner was a simple answer for me and well worth the expense...

BajaRon Sway Bar on 2012 RT Ltd

AMAZING upgrades Just took the Bronze Bomber for a quick test ride after the mod installs. The vibration at higher rpms is completely gone. Much thanks to Jim at SmoothSpyder for providing this product. I've been waiting all winter to do this. Small price to pay for a solid solution. The...

    HUGE difference with SmoothSpyder...

Just test drove my '12 RT with the SmoothSpyder belt tensioner. One word... AMAZIING!!! The vibration is completely gone and the ride is so much more enjoyable. BRP should be installing these on all Spyders. Jim at SmoothSpyder was quick to respond to the few questions I had. Installation was...

Frunk LED light: Where is the positive wire

I agree with Bob. I just installed a FZ-1 Fuzeblock. For the 12V Switched wire, I tapped into the analog gauge light wire. Not sure where you are mounting your block, but it's a short trip to the gauges if you're up front somewhere. When looking at the gauge, use the "lone" wire attached to the...

BajaRon Sway Bar on 2012 RT Ltd

Yes, they are very useful. Can be used for lots of projects. They can be found at Home Depot or Lowe's. Usually in the building supply aisles near roofing or deck building stuff.

Forgot the pre-paint pic of the mount. Primed and painted the mending plate and brace with high temp spray paint. Sent using Tapatalk

BajaRon Sway Bar on 2012 RT Ltd

Well, finally got to the FZ-1 install. I made the brace from a mending plate. It is solid and doesn't move at all. The FZ-1 comes with a plastic backing for the unit. I mounted that on top of the plate and then the FZ-1 on top of that. It eliminates any metal contact with the electronics board...

BajaRon Sway Bar on 2012 RT Ltd

There is space just behind the frunk (under the driver's side light), but I have a Wolo Bad Boy air horn in that space. So with all the Tupperware removed, I'm thinking about the driver's side just forward of the knee, above the oil tank and below the speaker. Lots of room in that space. I have...

BajaRon Sway Bar on 2012 RT Ltd

Installed a new BajaRon sway bar (purchased from Lamonster) this weekend. It can be done without removing the frunk, but I was doing some other additions, so off with the frunk. It was an extremely easy project without the frunk. I'm looking forward to the re-assembly and new ride. Now, where...

    Frogg Togg sale

Thanks Copperman. I usually find something I like and then remember I need it to be "ride-proof". Most clothing isn't meant to ride through rain. Great point! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

    Stebel horn

I wired mine directly to the factory leads (based on forum feedback) and have had no problem for the last year. HOWEVER... I always have a nagging feeling when I use the horn. This weekend I'm doing a tear down to install a few new accessories. While the panels and frunk are off, I am going to...

    Ordered a luggage rack today

That is a FULL cover, correct? To my knowledge, there is no half cover that comfortably fits over the RT with a rack.

    Northeast riders...

Is it just me, or did the winter go by relatively quickly? It seems like not too long ago, Christmas eve to be exact, I put the Spyder into hibernation. With the incredible weather this past weekend, we got out and put several hundred miles in the log. Our Spyder has taken its' rightful spot in...

    Ordered a luggage rack today

The BRP half cover will no longer slip over easily. I can still use mine with the Show Chrome rack (which I love), but it is an extremely tight fit and does not cover in the same way. Others have said the Ultra Guard full cover will fit over the rack. To the OP: Pegasus has the best advice for...
