• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are highway pegs worth the expense?

It depends on whether you feel comfortable when riding without being able to stretch out some. If he is already using the plastic shield then he probable needs some pegs. I found out quickly that I needed some pegs and got the ones that attach to the floorboards. Very easy install. Whether it's...

    Stalling.......

Got my first service done today on the 14 rt and even tho the records showed my bike had the service update done before I bought the bike the mechanic said he redid it and I should not have the stall problem in the future. Asked for the update number but for some reason nobody wanted to give it...

    Road ID for our safety

I haven't heard of followmee. Will check it out. The id bracelet is good. Kinda like the medical id bracelet or necklace. I use Glympse so the wife can track me. Or at least my phone. Works great but it will expire after 4 hours unless you extend it some more.

JUST HAD TO SPEND MO MONEY!!

I recently did both of those to my 14 rt and am enjoying them both. The new bar makes the ride more enjoyable and the bumpskid does look good. It hasn't been tested yet by anything on the road but when I installed it, I noticed some scrapes underneath from an earlier ride that the skid pad won't...

    F3 Fuel Gauge and fill-ups

I do the same with my 14 rt as far as using the trip meter. I still watch the gauge tho for a reference. I've gone about 220 on a tank but usually fill sooner with the other bikes I am with.

I feel for you and know you can do it. I switched to the spyder also due to ms. My wife has it but can stay on the spyder so we both can still have more fun together. Good luck and enjoy.

What for? Keep out the rain or to quiet it down. I'm guessing rain as will be surprised if it is weather proof. Anyway will check it for sure before I have it out much. Now have to schedule my appt for service on the RT and get the hitch on. Only need another 100 miles before the service and...
