• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2015 Spyder design....

I like it, but it won't work for me. I'm not a cruiser kind of guy and that looks like it will be tough to push thru the corners. So far the "re-worked" RT will stay.

    Back from the Gaspe

I'm back from the Gaspe, I've now got 2 days to do some laundry, clean up the trike, and then I head South for New Jersey for the weekend. The Gaspe was wonderful, great food, great people, great scenery, and great riding with good friends. What more can you ask for? I only got a 1/2 day of...

Anyone else get riled about two wheelers dumping on Trikes?

Go up to Canada, they wave at everybody and you'll see more Spyders than you imagined existed. It will make you proud to be a Spyder owner. Besides that, I am old and broken and damned proud of how I got that way. :D

    Cool dancer!

Wild. For some reason it is both fascinating and creepy to me at the same time. :yikes:

    Well, the bike is packed

and I'm ready to go (sounds like the beginning of a song :roflblack:). I'm headed 300 miles North towards the Gaspe early tomorrow morning.:clap:I'll meet my friends at Saint Georges and then we'll head out for two weeks of riding (and great food) up onto the Gaspe. I get the honor of...

BRP Spyder investigation started. What will happen?

IMHO, the first thing they should do is STOP SELLING LEFTOVER 2013's. The 2014's do not have this problem, but people are still being seduced into buying the 2013's because of not doing their research on the problem and the price differential created by the discounts. While it's true that not...

Here is a question that I guarantee no one can give an honest answer.

Hey each to his own Bob. The way I see it, if you don't want / need the effects of it, don't use it.

Here is a question that I guarantee no one can give an honest answer.

Yup, because i see it as no different from alcohol. I'm not saying I'd use it (any more than I drink), but as the cancer progresses, who knows? Plus it galls me that one guy in the 1930's can decide he knew what was best for society and force the issue, then it continues out of inertia. I see...

    Check your Elka Shock Springs

Mine came in two weeks ago (for an RT) and they were fine, but thanks for the heads up.

    Seat question - numb legs

Same problem I have with the Ultimate. It's wider than stock and presses on a nerve in my thigh. I ended up on a Corbin and that's working out pretty well. When the "hardness" of the Corbin gets to me, I add an Airhawk. I'm hoping the Corbin will eventually break in and I won't need the...

    2014 RTS Questions

    1. I can't speak for 2 up because I don't travel that way, but I'm routinely getting 200 to 240 miles per tank 2. I got 7500 out of my rear, but there are better tires out there that you can replace it with. Besides the stock size, 215/60/15's also work very well. The fronts we ended up...

    1330 OIL REPORT

Oh I enjoy a good oil discussion as well. but since my disability kicked in and I can't get down there to change it, I was just interested if it was something I should try to talk my dealer into. I guess in one sense, I'm a little concerned also and have been changing oil between 3-4000. It's...

NEW R-18 GoldWing Trike Now -N-North America

Possibly Jerry, but I'm happy enough with the Spyder for now. With 6 or 7 years of development I think it's coming nicely. But if you want one, have at it, and let me know how you like it. Like I said, it is a good looking trike.

NEW R-18 GoldWing Trike Now -N-North America

Yah, but a lot of Honda dealers won't touch a trike. Since it's been modified, they are under no obligation to fix it.

God, I wish I could cook - that is what I imagine they serve guys in heaven (at least to all the guys that make it there :lecturef_smilie:). Have you ever noticed that everything that tastes good is bad for you and everything that tastes bad is good for you :banghead::banghead::banghead:
