• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thinking of buying a 2015 RTS SE6--got a couple of questions--

You might want to consider laser alignment. It made a difference on my '14 RT-S.

    2 Ultimate Seat Questions

My RT's stock strut won't hold my Ultimate seat up. I'm planning on buying a stronger one at Amazon. A little errant spray won't soak the foam. It takes prolonged heavy exposure.

    Biketoberfest and new mods

Blade, SpyderLyter Fred did my fender lights during Bike Week in March. He also did ground effect lighting, mirror LEDs for turn signals, brake lights, and saddlebag markers. Excellent work, and he even fixed a minor problem at Syderquest last September despite being swamped with work. He and...

Thinking about a RT-S or Limited

Hi Tom, i wont repeat what you've already heard several times on this thread. It's sound advice, but I'd point out that MSF training is designed for maneuvers specific to two wheeled bikes, and unless they've added a three wheel curiculum, much of it wont apply. i suggest you order David...

    I-95 Corridor Condition

I'm on the fence about taking a ride to Biketoberfest in Daytona. Does anyone know if the I-95 corridor between New Jersey and Florida was damaged by last weeks storm?

    Too "cool" Harley rider

For a bunch of "rugged individualists" some of you have a very small tolerance for the choices of other riders. The general public can't make the very basic distinctions between an outlaw club and an HRCA chapter, but we're busy dividing ourselves over black leather vests and logo shirts while...

Tried EZ-Pass in Frunk without success

I've mounted mine on the small, clear, triangular plastic deflector (left side) behind the windshield on my RT and it works everywhere. It's the newer, smaller type, and that spot is almost flat, so it locks into the standard mounting tapes with a loud "click" and has never come loose. I don't...

    Comfort Seat Question?

The passenger's backrest that I bought with my Ultimate seat is shaped and angled differently than the stock piece and my wife finds it much more comfortable. It seems to compensate for the passenger space lost to my Ultimate "Tall Boy" seat. I find my endurance without stopping has at least...

Sound off if you got home safe from SpyderQuest

Mike and Lisa here, we arrived home safe and sound with John and Donna at 5:30 after a very nice 250 miles ride under changeable skies with an hour of rain in southern NJ complete with a vivid rainbow to welcome us home. We made some new friends, and enjoyed long rides under the watchful eyes of...

Swapping wheels- chrome RT622 for black Freedom trailer wheels

In walking around here at SpyderQuest, I noticed that the Freedom trailer has black wheels. My RT622 has chrome wheels, and I'd like to match them with the black wheels on my RT-S. Progressive Motorsports in Hudson Falls tells me the wheels are interchangeable. Anyone interested in a swap?

    Aftermarket Seat

I have the Ultimate Seat setup you described. It is very much more comfortable than the stock seat. Their "tall boy" model actually moves you back from the bars an inch or two, and the matching passenger backrest restores the passenger space lost to the rider. I can give Ultimate a high...

Bullying on our boards will be dealt with when reported

Moderating an Internet forum is a thankless and time consuming task. I've been a member of forums administered by Lamont for many years dating back to my Goldwing days, and he's always done a superb job. Thank you Lamont, for providing all of us with a valuable, useful, and powerful tool for...

    Spare gas?

If you feel a need to carry emergency fuel, I suggest an MSR bottle. It's metal, and is designed to carry fuel for backpackers and campers. I carried two in my Unigo trailer towed by my Goldwing on many cross country rides through the southwest after running out of fuel on Rt 93 just short of...

Looking for a 622 Trailer in Cognac

Richard, I believe that only a few trailers were produced in cognac, and you probably won't be able to find one. I had my 2013 painted to match my 2014 RT-S. You can expect to spend $700 to $900 in USD. Apparently no trailer wheels were produced in black. I intend to spray mine with...
