• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2011 RS SE5 in Silver?

And I will disagree on the need for the 1330, the 998 is plenty capable, and after tuning mine, I am fairly certain the 1330 can't do what my trike does. I would go to the line to back it up, you get more torque from a V-twin. While I WANT a 1330 beasty for a touring cruiser one day...

    Better ride?

These was the FIRST upgrade/change on the Can Am Spyder RS-S when I bought it in November, and its the first change I do to any of my new vehicles, cage of bike/trike. We used to use BB's in my stepdad's truck tires growing up in Alaska too, too tubes per tire on the big rig, saved my stepdad...

    Better ride?

I use counteract beads or Dyna Beads in ALL my tires including my car and truck. I NEVER have balancing issues. It took away that nagging vibration WITHOUT having to go spend hundreds on new rubber. It is widely available online, it can be a pain to feed it through the valve stem but worth...

    Is a tune required...???

I also did the canister removal discussed here, takes away the Gassy Smell after you fill and its easier to fill I swear.

    Is a tune required...???

Why are you idling for 15 minutes? Warm up? If so, I warm up til the first bar appears on the temp gauge, and then I am golden. And mine IS tuned. The tuning improved my mileage too by the way.

    Is a tune required...???

I only tuned my 2012 as its a preference. I ran with stock air box, a K&N filter (which I have available for sale since I changed to the JT Spyder Store Air Intake), and my Two brothers single can M2 exhaust, and it did fine. If you change the INTAKE AND the Pipes, you might need a tune to...

Replace old parts or buy new?

Get er done now. I highly recommend the Xenon Light kit from BRP, there are a few left on the FleaBay site for 200ish dollars, and they are selling them for around 250 on HotSpyderAccesories.com. The change in lighting is amazing. I am serious, my LED driving lights are going on the Trumpy, I...

    Hello

Don't get me wrong, I love my RS-S, and I am keeping it. We have had a fun 6 months, both on the road and the shop. But I cannot WAIT for my test ride on the 2020 RT, I am disappointed as it got put back a month, but I get it, and I did not want to travel until April anyway, so its cool, and I...

    ST-S extras

I am real pleased with the Power Commander 5, the JT's Spyder Store Air Intake, and the Two Brothers exhaust, definitely perked it up, I have an older RS-S. Oh I recommend the Baja Ron Plug Wire Kit. It comes with the Iridium Plugs, but I think its just 8mm wire if you prefer to go with your...

Awesome History of Can Am and a nice Ryker Review mixed in

Motorcycle Made in India Gives the Best Bang for Your Biking Buck

ANd its a bad year to be launching new lines in our economy now....I am probably going to pull my Triumph off the market, I wont get asking price for it now. Not with the way the market is blowing up lately.

Motorcycle Made in India Gives the Best Bang for Your Biking Buck

Honestly, the could have done better than sub 50 HP. On American freeways you need over 50 HP. Better gearing to keep you at 75 mph or better helps as well, and your best defense is your offense in the MC world. You have to be able to get away....47 HP will leave people wanting for more, and...
