• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I'm officially an incompetent idiot

Glendale is reasonably close. I'll give Shane a call. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I'm officially an incompetent idiot

Today I decided to install the cat delete pipe I bought from pit bull in preparation for a big ride a week from Saturday. The spyder is now torn apart in the garage with the cat removed and I've discovered my skill is insufficient to install the bypass pipe. I've tried all the tricks suggested...

    Seal Floorboards

I received an email from John at Seal. He said the weights were really just to counter vibration on the pegs and that the weight of the floorboards more than compensated if they were left off. End result is that it sounds like it's OK to leave them off, which I did. [emoji41] Sent from my...

    Seal Floorboards

Received my awesome Seal floorboards today and installed them over my lunch hour. They really are well made and easy to install. One question for those of you with these floorboards... Did you reinstall the weights under the foot pegs or leave them off? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

BRP Sponsored Events...Which will you attend

None of the BRP sponsored events are less than 1000 miles from Phoenix, so it is unlikely I'll be able to get enough vacation to attend any of them. [emoji22] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    iPhone 5s

PS: The charge and synch cables work great if all you want is to charge the phone and are very reasonably priced. The overpriced Apple cable makes the 5s or newer phones work just like the older phones when used with the factory spyder iPhone cable. Mine works great! Sent from my iPhone...

    iPhone 5s

I had a very similar issue moving from an iPhone 4 to a 6. The short answer is YES, but you must buy the "official" conversion cable made by Apple. You hook this cable onto the old cable that you previously used to connect your old iPhone. It is very important to buy the actual Apple...

    Heat

I've ridden my 2012 RT in 100°+ weather here in Arizona and had no problems with the Spyder. Just my experience. I'm still planning to do the cat delete and exhaust wrap though just to lower temps under the Tupperware. My thought is that lower inside temps equals longer life for all the parts...

Possible Solution to Sun Glare on GPS

I wish someone made a glare stomper for the whole dashboard on the RT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Spyders riding in groups with motorcycles?

I used to get really riled up about club rules, but then I realized that I was taking offense where none was intended, at least most of the time. Everyone in our club jokes around about which bikes are best or worst. It's all just good natured. My feeling is that if a club/group lays down rules...

Spyders riding in groups with motorcycles?

I'm really not sure what the big deal is with what position you ride in the group. My club has a policy that all three wheelers ride at the back of the group. If it bothered me, I would join a different club. Can my spyder outrun many of the two wheelers? Sure, but it's not a race, just a...

    Spyder Handles (Screen Names)

Spyder Handle I picked mine because I was new to the forum and wanted to try to make sure it wasn't the same as anyone else. No real reason other than Arachnid=Spider=Spyder. :D

    Just Wanted to Say Hello

I'd love to come to Spyderfest, but it will probably have to be next year since I don't think I can get sufficient vacation vacation days on short notice.

    Just Wanted to Say Hello

<sigh> I hate autocorrect. I typed "frunk" and my helpful machine corrected it to "frank".

    Just Wanted to Say Hello

Well, I sold my nine year old Harley and bought a lightly used 2012 Spyder RT-S. Best decision I ever made when it comes to motorcycles. These are really great machines. Zero problems in the first few hundred miles and the storage is fantastic. My helmet, gloves and jacket all fit in the...
