• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good News from RideNow Peoria, AZ

There's been a lot of negative posts about RideNow, but I wanted to say something positive. Just got a call from RideNow in Peoria, AZ informing me that they would be installing the new scoops to help with heatvon my 2012 RT-S as a "good will" gesture. RideNow called BRP to get authorization...

    Helmet pro's and con's

Just to add my personal 2 cents worth: When I was MUCH younger, stupid and immortal, I rode both street bikes and off road/enduro. For some reason I never felt the need for a helmet except when riding on the street. One day when being foolish with a group of friends who were all taking turns...

    ANY AZ SPYDERS OUT THERE??

I'm still riding in the North Phoenix area and actually saw three different Spyders in the last two days. Lots of AZ Spyders, but it seems like very few on the forum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Bad Dealer Setup

I'll just chime in to say that I've actually heard good things about spyder service at the Ride Now in Peoria, AZ. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New Instrument

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner! It's a g- meter that also does acceleration, deceleration and lateral force measurement, 0-60 and a few other things, but it really serves no valid purpose. Bought off eBay for about $40 to fill the empty dash hole. [emoji5] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New Instrument

The gauge on the right is not an altimeter, but that's getting closer. [emoji5] Hint: Many airplanes and some cars have something similar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New Instrument

So, I added two new gauges. One, on the left, is a nice functional voltage gauge. Any one care to guess what the other one is. Hint: It's not an amperage gauge and really serves no useful purpose other than being cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Missing---Joke Forum, so I'll just start a thread.

Courtesy of Dr. Grumpy's blog: Jake is an elderly widower who lives at Shady Acres Care Home. One day Sadie, who lives down the hall, comes over. "Jake," she says, "tomorrow the group bus is going over to see that new movie, and I'd like to go. But I haven't been to a movie since my husband...

    Thought This Was Pretty Funny

Umm, just to be clear, this was an April Fool's joke by the local paper. Cave Creek is the most motorcycle friendly town in Arizona. Cave Creek loves motorcycles and motorcyclists. I was afraid people might misunderstand. This article is similar to saying that Indiana wants to ban corn and...

    Thought This Was Pretty Funny

This may not translate well, but the local paper ran a front page story on April 1st about Cave Creek banning motorcycles. For those of you who are not familiar, Cave Creek, AZ is one of the most motorcycle friendly towns in AZ. The full joke front page is here...

    Michigan Spyderlovers Shirt

I'm not in Michigan, but think the shirt is cool and would be happy to order one if Michigan residency is not required. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why isnt' the Spyder more popular!

Completely agree with the differences between English and American. [emoji1] I was quite shocked the first time I heard a British gentleman say he was stepping into the alley for a (British slang term for a cigarette). It was an awkward moment to say the least. Is there a British equivalent to...

Why isnt' the Spyder more popular!

Right. I forgot about the single rear wheel rule in Nevada. Of course, according to BRP, Spyders aren't motorcycles anywhere. [emoji14] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why isnt' the Spyder more popular!

So, just to be clear, BRP states that the Spyder is not a motorcycle? That's just not correct. It is as much a motorcycle as a Harley trike, which is certainly considered a motorcycle. A Spyder or any trike/sidecar rig definitely handles completely differently than a two wheeled cycle, but is...

    First Purely Cosmetic Mod

Very true. We have Amazon Prime mostly for the online video streaming. I use eBay too, but have had more bad experiences there than on Amazon. It's really just a matter of whatever works best for you. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    First Purely Cosmetic Mod

Wow, $1.20 is a great deal. I think I paid about $6 for mine on Amazon. It does seem to be well made and all metal. I was afraid it would end up being cheap plastic chrome, but the metal can be bent and formed to the contours of the bodywork. Seems reasonably durable. Sent from my iPhone...

    First Purely Cosmetic Mod

I found a nice chrome spider and couldn't help myself. After floorboards and a cat delete install, it seems kind of trivial, but it makes me smile. Has anyone else succumbed to this type of temptation? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I'm officially an incompetent idiot

Good news! Pit bull overnighted me new slip gaskets to replace the two I destroyed and even dug up two springs to replace the ones that a former mechanic apparently never re-installed. I was still having problems with the install today, but Shane from Spyders to the rescue talked me down...
