• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Bumpskid....is it needed?

What about aquaplaning?? I am afraid this big flat plastic piece will act as a surf board on any puddle! I'd love to have a metal plate under the engine.

Its 30c in Kuwait but I couldn't resist it .

When living in Dubai and riding during summer I spent more money on my water use than on gas... And batteries were dying faster than I could buy them!

    Marvel Mystry Oil

I am using MMO in all of my vehicles including the Spyder: it keeps all the gas lines /jets (as in injectors) clean and "greasy" which IMHO is good with the gas offered now.

Do You Carry a Gun When You Ride

http://www.thetimelessride.com/ Funny to see how a guy going around the world for 9 years has a Swiss pocket nice as his main weapon and locals are so afraid to go around the block without their guns!! Maybe this cartoon was right:

    Long Distance Riding

Sorry for asking: are these Iron Butt, 50CC etc open to 3 wheelers (Spyder/Trike) ??? Having rode non stop 600 miles a few time on my RT, I feel that "regular motorcyclist" competing in these marathon are the real heroes... IMHO there is nothing to be proud about doing in it on a 3 wheeler...

It is funny to read some of the comments... As mentioned they are the same heard a few years ago from some old men on their Goldwings...ugly?? These has to be the funniest: anyone looked in his garage lately?! Calling a Spyder beautiful takes some nerves! If Toyota is looking in this direction...

    Almost a Velorex!

You may know about Velorex maker of great sidecars... They made a three wheeler with a Jawa engine and a body covered with canvas. Around San Francisco I saw this contraption with a cx500 Honda power train, VW front hubs, hand made frame. 3 wheelers are back!

    now isn't this vincent pretty

I think the usual BS about British bike does not apply to the problems I had with this Egli: alternator is French (Alton), clutch is Ducati etc. Vincent are the Hondas of British bikes: almost as boring and almost as reliable... And with all the probs I had with my RT it feels like Canada is...

    now isn't this vincent pretty

Too many problems: 15 miles: valve collar broke 800 miles: alternator dead 1500 miles: fork stuck in bottom position 2000 miles: clutch/primary bolts broke, all of them 2200: another alternator It is not as nice to ride as my Commando, the builder is a major a$$; price is ridiculous... Where do...
