• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Soft windshield?

This is what I have used and it worked very well for me. Harley buddy recommended it. You do it by hand, no buffer needed. http://www.amazon.com/Novus-Plastic-Polish-Scratch-Remover/dp/B000J41VDM/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1399470745&sr=8-4&keywords=novus+cleaner

2 Questions I would like an answer to...

I would suspect going around the curve at a little higher speed you accidently road the brake a little while on the throttle at the same time. I did this same thing the day I brought my 2011 RT home. I called the dealer and he ask if I had done that and I said I guess it's possible. 3 years...

Adding BRP Bluetooth Dongle - Questions Answered.

Welcome! Spyderlovers is a treasure trove of information. As far as the Bluetooth units for you helmets I like Sena. Just easier to operate I think and they make upgrades to the software which adds new features all the time. As far as the Garmin it depends on what model you bought if it will...

    to much oil added

I never noticed the instructions for checking the oil at room temp before. That will probably be the way I do it from now on. I like to check the oil before I go for a ride, not after. My service manual says the same thing. Thanks for posting.

Need help before going back to Dealership today on Bluetooth Communication System....

This might be a good read and explain a few things. Farther down in the post there are pictures of how I mounted it in the trunk. http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?47593-Adding-BRP-Bluetooth-Dongle-Questions-Answered

Need help before going back to Dealership today on Bluetooth Communication System....

The BRP Dongle comes with the power source built into the cable. It draws from the radio power. There is a switch right on the dongle. It is not a problem to turn off and on.

Need help before going back to Dealership today on Bluetooth Communication System....

I have the Dongle installed in my trunk and it works very well. No noise in the link at all. I turn the dongle on at the beginning of the day and leave it on until I park at home at the end of the day and then turn it off. Doing it this way I have never had to keep pairing the headsets. Just...

    Extended Warranty

I bought the Zurich warranty because it was about the same price as the BEST warranty and covered 2 additional yrs as in 5. There is not a deductible for each occurance and it is excepted at "Most" dealers not just Spyder/Can Am dealers. Also my dealer recommended it for these reasons and said...

I have almost this setup. I have a pair of SMH10H for half helmets and the SR10. I use an aftermarket CB, the Midland 75-822. Went on a ride Monday with a friend and he said my radio sounded crystal clear. We had no problems at all communicating from close to half mile apart. Probably could've...

    Sena SR10 and SM10 Together??

Just thought I would update this after I ask the question of Sena Tech support. My initial question to him was: "I have 2 SPH10H headsets. I have the SM10 for dual streaming and the SR10 for my CB radio. Is there anyway to configure this to allow my wife to hear the CB radio also? If this is...

What is the average mileage I should expect out of a rear tire?

My OEM I got about 9500 miles and the center was bare. I tried every air pressure. The OEM when it needed to be replaced it hydroplaned like crazy. I have about 8k miles on my Michelin and still looks like new. I've heard they don't make this tire anymore. What a shame.

    Here's my Bluetooth dongle harness

I have the factory BRP Dongle setup and it is installed in the trunk, not the frunk and I have never had any electrical noise. Don't know if it makes a difference where I installed it. Didn't make since to put it in the frunk. The rest of my electronics were in the trunk.
