• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

whether you flash the ecu by splitting the ecu or flashing via obd port the same ecu tables are being modified both methods read the ecu eeprom then write back modified tables.nothing is upgraded when splitting the ecu other than the ecu tables. In the unlikely event the dealer had to do a full...

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

you get a little more power up top but its not usable as torque drops off at high rpm looks good on a dyno though. i have mine set at 8300 rpm even gunning it i am shifting at around 7600 where it seems to be making the most power/torque i don't think theirs much point in increasing rpm limit...

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

i haven't heard any stories of warranty work being denied because of flashed ecu's . when servicing all they can see that might give it away is max rpm iv just had a service and the dealer didn't spot anything amiss. maptunerx has hardware requirements listed before install stage 101 and 102...

F3T squeal noise under load wheeling around or turning a corner?

have you checked the cushdrive bushings in the rear wheel hub behind the sprocket could be some sand or grit in there maybe a clean and a little silicon grease would help.i think if the belt was rubbing you would smell burnt rubber and be able to see rub marks on the flange of the sprocket

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

the stage 2 agr tune has been updated today. i have been out for a quick test and i must say i am impressed throttle response is a lot snappier feels a lot more like a cable throttle now rather than ride by wire. the previous problem i had with the agr tune is now fixed

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

agr stands for aggressive.just slipon exhaust required. i went out testing the new stage 2 AGR tune on Sunday and had a problem with the throttle cutting out over 95% throttle application. i have been in contact with victor at maptun and he said he will have a engine calibration technician take...

    Ryker ECU Flash

no just the 3 tunes from my post above. you have the option to buy map editor software and a Datalogger Kit for the maptunerx so you could make your own E85 tune if you know what your doing

    noise from my '17 F3 w/1700 miles

Motorcycle gearboxes are constant mesh,The bang is just the wet clutch plates getting "stuck" together by surface tension created by the oil film on the plates and causing the clutch to stay engaged. engine oil is much thicker when cold, so there's plenty of surface tension to be had! you still...

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

maptunerx i have been out today testing maptunerx stage 2 flash on my f3s daytona with 79 tooth sprocket took about 15 minutes to install.tune only effects sport mode so its easy to switch between stock and stage 2 tune to compare. throttle response is more linear right up to the rev limiter no...

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

at 105 mph for the f3s and 95 mph for the rt the ecu starts limiting throttle input you can still hit 125 mph but its slow getting there the faster you go the throttle progressively closes until you hit 125 mph limiting top speed

monster can flash the ecu without splitting the ecu only in Canada though .why do monster request to send the ECU in. how would they flash it if you didn't:roflblack: monster dump your stock file edit it then flash it back to the ecu. it seems dynojet and maptunerx have removed the speed limiter...

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

JS3535 Sent mine off for stage 1....can’t hardly wait to get it back!!! What do you guys think of carrying a bottle of octane boost for emergencies? I go up to the mountains a lot & always fill up before because most places only have a 87 pump. sounds like a good plan to me

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

if you put in fuel with an octane rating too low for your vehicle, it can create a knock. An octane rating is the measure of a fuel type’s ability to resist premature detonation of the air-fuel mixture in the engine. This combustion causes “knocking” or “pinging” monster change timing and knock...

Have you had an ECU Flash? How long did it take? Any good?

torque limiter and throttle position adjustment alone would give you " seat of the pants " or 1/4 mile improvements . i cant understand why dynojet & maptunerx would be 12% lower than with the monster tune. after all its the same ecu tables there modifying.
