• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are Spyders super sensitive to road crown?

Makes a lot of sense. Ok now just for conversation, if the motorcyles' gyroscopic effect provides stability, how do cars which also have two wheels up front deal with this issue? Is it just the pure weight of the car that helps it track straight on uneven roads or are they just more adjustable...

Are Spyders super sensitive to road crown?

Been thinking about this exactly. In my mind i keep going back n forth. Is EVERYONE just adjusting to this or is it just not there for them... So ya tires. Thats actually next. It seems to be the one thing that makes a lot of sense to me. And pretty much the last thing before i stop looking for...

Are Spyders super sensitive to road crown?

Got it back today finally. Just a hair better but im really thinking its the nature of the beast. I will try different tires at some point because i know tires are what connect us to the road and can make or break a ride. After that we will just ride it and hopefully forget all about it. Its...

Pictures showing rotated 90° - Why? Any fix?

If ur using an iphone you need to take them with the phone horizontally and the home button to the right. Landscape mode. Should solve all ur problems. If you have an android ur on ur own lol.

Anyone else notice the excessive amount of throttle twist/rotation required??

Agreed for the most part. Def not a racebike and im def not trying to ride it that way. But when even just maintenance throttle has you holding it in an awkward position, my mind wanders to my other bikes and ultimately does an ergonomic comparison. Its the actual position you have to keep ur...

Anyone else notice the excessive amount of throttle twist/rotation required??

Its not the effort that is off, its the actual length of the twist required. So basically if you want to accelerate 100% for some reason (spirited riding) you would actually need to twist it aprox 180 dgrees and then twist it more, necessitating an actual repositioning of your grip to further...

    Upper body strength

I will admit the term "power steering" implies more power assist than it really seems to offer. I was expecting a bit more "power" from the power steering. I have a disability so this was concern for me too. Best thing would be a test ride somehow.

Anyone else notice the excessive amount of throttle twist/rotation required??

Def not in ECO mode. Although when it comes back tomorrow from the alignment I am def going to put in ECO and see if it changes anyway. Called the dealer today and asked about this and of course got the old - "sorry theres nothing we can do".

Anyone else notice the excessive amount of throttle twist/rotation required??

No lol. Its def not a power issue, its just the travel of the actual throttle required is way out of proportion. Im sure all the Spyders are this way but once again, motorcycles have it all over these things throttle-wise. Def shouldnt have to turn the throttle 180 degrees and hold it there just...

Anyone else notice the excessive amount of throttle twist/rotation required??

I know its def ride by wire but a lot of the ride by wire systems have a cable that is pulled to mimick the the old throttle "feeling". Was sort of hoping i guess. If ours wasnt at the shop id go out and take a look. So assuming these are true ride by wire then, there should be a sensor...

Anyone else notice the excessive amount of throttle twist/rotation required??

Anyone else notice that you have to really twist the throttle far to accelerate? On our F3L its really noticible if you're wanting to do more than just cruise. Say, accelerating onto the highway. Jumping back onto my motorcycle this really jumped out at me. I know these aren't motorcycles but...

    F Y I

This is exactly why we waited for the newer 1330/6 spd. Hoping it fares better. After owning Japanese bikes for decades and never needing to take them in for anything, the Cam Am def scares me a bit. Really wish these were built by Yamaha...

    Rear shock air pressure

2016 F3 Limited here. How much do these leave the factory with pressurewise? Seems ok riding solo but with the wife it bottoms out every once in a while. Its in the shop getting an alignment done or i would just go check myself. Just curious as to how much i should add for roughly 350 lbs of riders

Missing---Joke Forum, so I'll just start a thread.

Trailer width - is 5.5 feet wide enough?

if you just look it up it, the specs say 58.9" wide. so basically 5 feet. 3 inches on either side is close but if the ramp and the entrance of the trailer are a true 5.5' you should just barely squeak it in. I can tell you that it will look a lot tighter than 3 inches on either side lol. Measure...

Trailer width - is 5.5 feet wide enough?

I haul my F3 with a 6' wide enclosed trailer and i can tell you thats an extremely tight fit. Literally an inch or two on each side to spare. Really wish it was at least 7 feet wide. I wouldnt use anything less than 6'. I know for sure a 5'5 would not work on my machine.

    2016 RT Not Automatically Upshifting

I road raced motorcycles for a long time and we used full synthetic exclusively and never had an issue. Wet clutches never had an issue ever. I used to get a whole season out of a stock clutch too. Thats with full on green light launches when slipping it a hair was the only way to get a good...

gas tank issues on new 2016 f3

Definitely. If it wasnt for my disability i would take it apart again and do it, but tbh i was lucky to get it all back together the first time. It would be super easy to take those springs out and just snip about 10-15% of them off one end of each spring. The trick would be to snip only one...

    Shifting, semi-automatic

Might want to check that trans filter. Our brand new machine was shipped with a damaged trans filter and it caused all kinds of shifting issues. Just a thought, especially if it wasn't doing this before.

gas tank issues on new 2016 f3

Same exact issue with our '16 F3L. Absolutely stupid design, ours needs an excessive amount of pressure to close too. Tried lubing the slide area - didn't really help. I actually took it all apart and there are 4 springs in there that apply resistance which causes the excessive effort required...
