• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Domio Pro+

They have two models the Domio Pro and the Domio Pro+. The Domio Pro+ appears to be intended for motorcycle riding and a response to the complaints that that the audio couldn't be heard well due to engine noise. I also think there is likely a range of difference in experience with the audio...

    Domio Pro+

A new Domio Pro+ that includes audio and voice communication is coming out. The audio is done through sound vibration and mounts on the outside of your helmet. Anyone have experience with Domio or similar products? Introductory price seems reasonable.

    Ryker dirt road and gravel

Glad to hear that the experience hasn't been all bad riding a RT or F3 on gravel roads. I've been a little over-protective by avoiding the roads given that the Spyder's are belt driven.

    Ryker ride first impressions

Ryker on Half-Day Highway Trips? Thanks for your impressions on the Ryker. My wife and I are looking for a second three-wheeler to ride along with our current 2017 RT LTD. How well do you think the two will complement each other? What I really want to know, can you see yourself riding the Ryker...

    Website question

If there is going to be a melding of the two, I suspect the new line would borrow one of the best features of the Ryker and offer a highly adjustable "Tool-free UFit system" that would allow you to adjust your riding positions for both cruising (F3 positions) and touring (RT two-up comfort...

    Dealer awards

I'm less than an hour away from Jaycox Powersports so it is nice to know I have another option outside my local dealer if I ever need a second opinion. What made Jaycox stand out to be cited as Dealer of the Year?

    Ryker Ykester!!!

Originally, I would agree with you...but the more I look into the Ryker the more I'm convinced it's a lot more than just a cheaper Spyder. The Ryker can do something the Spyder can't...go on gravel and dirt roads with peace of mind due to it having a drive shaft instead of a belt. Around my...

    2019 F3L price drop.

Out of curiosity, what's the asking price for his trailer? Roughly how old and how many miles? Seems like people hang onto their trailers...perhaps longer than they keep their current Spyder.

    2019 F3L price drop.

I too want to hear what others have to say with regards to the 2018 you're looking at. My wife and I did the same thing when the 2018's were available...we purchased a 2017 at a "good price". This looks like a good deal to me. Pricing the 2018 based on 2019 prices plus some discount make a lot...

    2019 F3L price drop.

Dark or Chrome? If it's Chrome, no question it's a fantastic deal. If it's a Dark trim, you're talking about just a $2500 price difference to the 2019 equivalent. I'd see if you can squeeze another $500 out of them (although delivery to your door step may be why they won't go lower). Still...

    So it's called the Ryker!

I also think this new line also gives BRP "freedom" to take risks and get a feel for what people like and don't like before bringing them in the Spyder line. For instance, a drive shaft with a fully automatic CVT sound like a great idea for the Spyder's future...but that could also be a huge...

    Wife learning to drive Spyder

Woman up front! My wife and I took motorcycle lessons together and bought a 2017 RT Limited to share. Looks like we're leaning toward a second Spyder. Until we do get a second, I actually don't mind taking turns when the wife drives and I'm the passenger. We ride with a large group of Harley...

Accident July 7, 2018. Prayers needed

Prayers sent to both you and Kathy. And I'm usually not one to pray in this manner unless I know the person...but thought you should know you've reached a lot of stranger's hearts with this accident.

    2019 F3L price drop.

Agree on both counts. Will be interesting to see what happens with the pricing for the left-over 2018's still remaining at the dealer. Even with the rebates for the 2018...the 2019 Ryker and the 2019 prices for the RT/F3 has me wondering what dealers will do with their old inventory.

    Ryker Ykester!!!

I think so. For the past month I had considered buying a 2014 RS (998) as a second Spyder for my family...but not anymore after seeing the Ryker. The 998s from the very early years and in good condition may hold value as a collectible down the road, but for me as a buyer today seeing the...

    2019 F3L price drop.

Yea, that's going to be a difficult choice...high-end Ryker or low-end F3? I suspect both the Ryker's price and the new F3/RT prices will put a lot of pressure on the resale value of the older 990 Spyders (2014 and older).

    2019 F3L price drop.

Demographic Change. I have no special knowledge to why they've lowered the price and I'm only guessing in my previous post. I do know though, my local dealer was extremely frustrated this past summer with the fluctuating rebates for my 2017 RT Limited. In the few months leading up to my...

    2019 F3L price drop.

New sales tactic? I noticed. Wonder if BRP decided to stop using rebates as a sales tactics and just start offering a more reasonable MSRP to begin with. It looks like the F3 and F3-S might be getting a new dashboard...maybe there is some cost savings there too?

    So it's called the Ryker!

High End Ryker or Low End F3? A decked out Ryker Rally 900 ACE gets me close to $14,500 while a lower end F3 or F3-S can be had for $15,000-$20,000 so it's going to come down to the advantages/disadvantages of the two. Personally, I like the 1330 on the F3, but the idea that the Ryker can go on...
