• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailer Tie Downs for securing load

Thanks, I wondered about that and how to stop loads from shifting. I had the earlier trailer with my 2012 and it had nets to separate loads.

    New garmin map update

Triplethreat, I installed the Garmin Express only a few weeks ago when I bought the Zumo 590 so if it was age, it aged fast. That said, it could have been a bunch of things and I a just glad that I got it updated. But a good point worth considering. Nice to have that height info for...

    Handle bar sizing - I-fit

Sorry for the confusion, I was just using it for the 2020 Spyder RT Limited and was not paying attention to other models. I am glad someone with more knowledge jumped in with the correct answer. My key objective was just to get a picture uploaded so that it could be seen. Have a great day.

Fairly long road trip in May

I agree with you on the time, not miles as there can be a significant difference. At 68 I need to pay attention to not trying to be what I remember I could do. So beyond the normal daily exercise and stretch I will be paying attention how I feel as we go as the beauty of retirement is that you...

    Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally - 2020

I have done I 90 several times in the car to the Black Hills, especially when visiting my parents home in Pipestone when I was stationed in Albuquerque. I am thinking state or back roads for this trip. When I was a kid I saw the three stooges (I don't recall which three they were at that time...

Fairly long road trip in May

Good points, I will check out the tire products. I think you are right on taking a break. My wife and I will get a good gauge on how long we want to ride when we leave WV for MN and how aging bodies operate. Good luck on getting your last two states.

    Handle bar sizing - I-fit

You might be right about it being a shame, but honestly given all the conversations we had and his detailed knowledge on everything else on the 2020 Spyder, I think giving the wrong name falls in the trivial category to me. And the beauty of the forum is that there are individuals that correct...

    Handle bar sizing - I-fit

In another thread I had mentioned that my dealer for my 2020 Spyder RT Limited, Billy Mulyar at Motomember in Purcellville, VA, had a device to test out different handlebar sizes. I did not find the post where the question was asked, but I did say that the next time I went to the dealer I would...
