• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Heated grip on off button size

I had spotted these before, they look nearly identical. https://www.genuinedealz.com/marine-electrical-supply/switches/contura-rocker-switches Hmm, I assumed they were like the buttons on the ST but I don't think they are. Sorry for the false hope.

    Cornering

The two wheels in the front are WAY more stable than the ATC's of old that have the two wheels in the rear. I had/have a Honda ATC 200X that I've flipped many times.

2011 RT Limited - Charging Battery

Unless you're disconnecting the battery completely from the Spyder I don't see how you're still not charging into the electrical system.

2011 RT Limited - Charging Battery

I was referring to the poster above mine with the 13 ST. That was what the ^ was for.

2011 RT Limited - Charging Battery

^ couldn't you just move the fuse and charge through the cigarette lighter plug in the frunk? That's what we do with our ST-L.

Kelly Blue Book Value on RT SE5 Limted

It sounds like you needed to think your Spyder purchase through a little more if you're ready to trade it in after 30 days. It's like anything else, buy a new $50k truck and try trading it after a month and let me know how you make out.

    alignment specifications

Why bother fabricating a jig when it only costs $130 to get the alignment done correctly? I could see if you had a bunch of buddies that needed there's done. But if I don't know you I'm sure not paying for some backyard fabricated alignment when I can pay $130 for a proven laser alignment. We...

    Changer - Tires

I haven't balanced mine and it's perfectly smooth. My plan was to try it and if it needed balancing then I'd put Ride-On in it.

It sounds like he added the quart prior to rechecking. At least that's how his post is worded to me.

    uh oh stripped drain plug

Like others have said, I think you need to be pulling on the plug while turning at the same time. Then try and wedge a screwdriver tip between the plug flange and case in order to assist the plug out of the hole.

    uh oh stripped drain plug

That's not going to work because the plug is just spinning in the case drain hole. Once you start to drill the plug will just spin.

    Belt tension

Correct. Go in small turns, 1/8-1/4 turn at a time. Those adjusters being that loose probably didn't help your tension changing when you tightened the axle. Any time you have to loosen an adjuster I'd tap the axle forward.

    Belt tension

You have definitely loosened that right adjuster a lot. I would tighten both adjusters until they just touch the swing arm again. Then I'd check belt tension. To correct your belt you either need to tighten the belt side adjuster or loosen the brake side adjuster. I have found that when you...

    AAA or AMA

I've heard horror stories of AAA not towing bikes in certain regions. Just because they tow bikes in your own region doesn't mean they will in whatever region you're broken down.

    Belt tension

Mine was at 180 on the Krikit and then I bumped it up to 220 right before l brought it in for a laser alignment. I thought I was doing the right thing by bringing it into the 1050N spec prior to the laser alignment. I guess I should have just left it. I haven't noticed any vibrations though.
