• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sena 20s at Cycle Gear for $350/2: Deal or No Deal?

I've heard the 20S is fine if you only have 2 sets paired, more than that and the sound gets choppy and knocks and clicks.

Battery Tender On & Green but not charged

I find with a Battery Tender, if the battery is beyond the ability to take a charge the BT defaults to the green light.

Advice on ST (Update). I won’t go back to 2 wheels.

I'm pretty sure you literally have to complain about the heat in order to get the panels.

Any tips, suggestions, vids on changing F3 Spark Plugs - R&R Now Done!

That guy claims he wasted his time removing most of those panels. Concentrate on the left side panel removal and I think you'll have it. I'm sure there will still be a lot of panel removal, that's just how Spyder maintenance goes it seems. You can find someone with a shop manual I'm sure but it...

    Question regarding smart phones.

I've had an Android smartphone for years and have never had any such issues. I wouldn't worry about it.

Insurance - Anyone have any history with Markel?

I have Progressive for the Spyder and 3 other motorcycles and my premium goes down quite a bit every year. I do get a good discount if I pay in full, which I do.

    Advise on 2013 ST

You don't pull the engine for a valve check but most body work and airbox need to be removed. And my manual says valve check is at 14k miles.

    Advise on 2013 ST

First question, what do you ride for a motorcycle? Reason I ask is because if it isn't a cruiser with forward-ish controls you're probably going to dislike the seating/leg position of a F3 with the 1330 engine. I know I/we disliked it. 2nd, are you a tourer rider? If so, maybe you'll like an RT...

Ha ha, I took mine out after 10,000 miles and 3 years and it was spotless, waste of time.

    I CAN'T STAND IT

We waited all season for winter to get here, no its making an appearance. They keep saying the storm is moving further out to sea so it'll mean less snow for us. I just got over 2 days without power from the last one, we'll see what happens this time.

    Air Filter Removal

Removal on the ST is a pain but not impossible. The worst is figuring on the technique for mirror removal, once you've got that the rest is just some bolts. You can hinge the console up from the back, you don't have to remove it.

    2014 oil change

The full instructions for an ST are right in the owners manual, they tell you all the panels that need to be removed, oil quantity and torque specs. It's very easy to do. None of the panels that need to be removed are difficult.

How difficult is it to flush the brake fluid on a 2015 F3S Spyder?

I think the problem with not using the BUDS is that some of the old fluid stays in the ABS unless it's actually cycled. Harley just had a HUGE recall because people weren't properly flushing their ABS system.

BajaRon Sway Bar Helm Joint Links

I get a little bit of clicking out of ours as well but a little shot of lithium grease and it quiets them down quite a bit. They are a steel ball and steel socket so there's some slight movement that can cause a click, so lube is a good idea.

You reduced the price to $175 per unit or $175 for the dual pack? You can get a new dual pack for $284 online. Just an FYI, I bought a complete used single pack for $80 shipped.

    Correct Coolant (Orange)

Thanks for the reply. I have had a quart of the XPS orange coolant to top off after I had a small coolant leak last season. The owners manual was throwing me for a loop with the 2 year coolant change and the reference to green coolant. So I think I'll hold off on changing it for another season...

    Correct Coolant (Orange)

Ok, I'm thinking my owners manual is wrong when it comes to what coolant is ACTUALLY in my 14 ST. The manual thinks it's green but in fact it's orange. Seeing the orange is a long life coolant, will mine even need to be changed yet? It's a 14 that went into service in 2015 and it has 10,000...
