• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can Am RT Limited 2021 suspension - is it any different fm 2020?

https://www.wespydservices.com/sway-bars Rabbit Works in Sydney is the spot for Australian sway bars. My experience supports.

2020 RT Limited - rpm/whining noise issue. Anyone else?

My November 2020 F3L made a number of different noises for the first 10k km, most of which slowly disappeared. Now with 22k km on the clock there are no strange noises and it appears to run better and better each time it gets to punt me through the twisties. Loving it.

What RPM range do you stay in (mostly) 1330 engine?

3500 rpm is my usual for 2020 F3L depending upon environmental situations. Engine sounds and acts happy. Not frightened of 5000rpm+ but prefer to not waste too much fuel too often.

    How old are you?

    79 and not out.

    Price per mile/km

Yeah! Great advice. My 2020 F3L calculates all those figures automatically. I reset at each refill and occasionally check the total figure too .... shrug and get ryding again. Wouldn't be dead for quids.

F3 limited Paddle shifter will not shift into reverse or neutral

This weakness in the left hand module is well known and well denied by those responsible. My 2020 F3L has had a warranty replacement on order for months with Can Am stating (in writing) that no replacement is available 'in the world'. Unbelievable!! This solution has worked in mine: after...

    Hesitation from stop

My new 2020 F3L also does this hesitation from cold start until the engine has warmed up a little. Such is Not an oil level cause/solution, but rather a simple fuel, engine temp and air temperature combination situation. The oil will be circulating from almost the moment the engine turns over...

2021 F3 Ltd shudders under acceleration fm 65! Any ideas?

Possibly you need to be in a lower gear, particularly if your acceleration is vigorous. Not all vibrations come from the belt.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Replaced Kenda rear tyre that had just reached its wear-depth markers after just over 20k kms. Fronts still have heaps to go. Running fronts at 16 psi and rear at 22 psi. Mostly riding vigorously in hinterland and hill on Qld 2nd class roads. Very happy with this. Great bike, 2020 F3L.

    Twitchy

Twitchy steering is almost always related to wheel alignment. I run 16 psi front and 22 rear giving me over 20k km and zero twitchiness right up to 140kph. Happy to see you had a successful wheel alignment for the correct 'fix'.

Aussie Oil. What do you use in 1330?

Hey, I just discovered this post. Peter, you did a top job with your response, as always.

F3T Fuse Blown F7 Left fuse box

Common/uncommon? Without knowing the cause your post is of little help for those of us who want to be problem-free when out and about on our F3 mobiles. Are you able to provide some guidance?

    Tires again

If you are going to slander Kenda as OE spec rubbish you will need to quote a date to go with it. My 2020 F3L has 16k km on the Kendas and they have proven to be as good as the best of 2 wheel tyres I have fitted. Thankfully CAN-Am appear to have listened to many years of complaining about...

Brand new tires (OEM) Brand new Tire Pressures???

Me too. 17psi front and 23psi rear I use for one-up ryding. Two-up probably needs higher pressure and my repairer sets them that way. I reset them as soon as I get home.

    F3 basic sway bar replacement

I replaced mine with a Rabbit Swat Bar (Australia). Like so many other ryders I've found an immediate large improvement in cornering. My thoughts wonder why such and easy and significant improvement in handling isn't yet being done by the manufacturer.

    2019 vs 2020 F3 Ltd Differences - Rear Trunk

The Australian 2020 F3 trunk comes with a red blank where the Canada/US versions have a stop/tail light as per Australian Design Rules. LED replacement lights plug straight in where the red blank is and provides an excellent light that is high and easy to see from behind, particularly from...

    What's your best mod?

Changing the Top Box tail/brake light dummy for the real thing LEDs, and changing Pannier Reflectors for LED lights made the 2020 F3L much easier to be seen on the road. Fitting a signature light makes the front look better while the Rabbit Sway Bar is really good for smoothing out the cornering...

    2016 F3-S Conked Out - Any suggestions?

I recall my young brother 'helping' dad by filling Dad's fuel tank from the garden hose. He was about 4 years old at the time.
