• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Check-in on your ryde home from SpyderFest '15

Finally got in this afternoon after leaving on Monday. We started out taking the back roads home to Phoenix, with the thought that we would extend our vacation a few more days and see the sights. Unfortunately, the weather got in the way, so we stayed on I40 to Flagstaff then south on I17 to...

Back Up Lights to Turn Signals on an RT

I believe that it's a federal requirement that any vehicle with a reverse gear must have reversing lights. Sorry, I can't quote chapter and verse, so you may want to check with your local DOT.

    BajaRon Shock Adjuster install

My wife will only go to the garage to get her car out, so when I wrench it's a lonely job. I removed/replaced the springs using a motorcycle lift, and when it came time to install the bottom shock bolts I let the Spyder down with the opposite wheel on a 2x4 until it just touched, then place my...

    Shock Adjusters - Finally!

Ron, As one of your test mules I have been eagerly awaiting the finished product and quite honestly am blown away by the quality look. Especially in red. To all, this is a needed upgrade to the non-adjustable front suspension, that tree really does make a difference. I've had the prototypes on...

    Maybe trikes are gang exempt?

Seems as though the FBI thinks all motorcycle riders are gang members. This couldn't apply to trikes could it? http://nationalreport.net/fbi-admits-registered-motorcycle-owners-classified-gang-list/

Time for me to ask opinions please. I don't ask for many so hoping to get many :)

I agree with the others that you should do the valve job yourself. Also, since you are so adept at documentation, why not video the process to help others and to assure BRP that it was done correctly should any problems arise in the future. I would pay particular attention to showing that the...

2013 Can-Am Spyder RT Safety Recall - Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment

A friend of mine was part of a group recruited by BRP a couple of years ago to test ride Spyders on a race track just south of Phoenix in the summer heat. He didn't report any heat issues with bike, but got bored very quickly going round and round in circles. He could have been test riding a...

Missing---Joke Forum, so I'll just start a thread.

Confession is so much better today. He went into the confessional box after years of being away from the Church. Inside he found a fully equipped bar with Guinness on tap. On one wall, there's a row of decanters with fine Irish whiskey and Waterford crystal glasses. On the other wall is...

Foot pegs VS. floor boards...sitting position

I have a 2013 RT-S, SM5 and installed the Rivco floorboards with the heel/toe shifter (a must). I'm 5'10" and the floorboards have given me a wider range of foot placement than the pegs could ever do. I had considered the highway pegs, but the floorboards worked so well that I didn't need them...
