• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Front Fender Bolts

I have a 2012 RTL which I needed to remove the left front fender to do some work on the wiring under the fender. Since removing and bolting back on the bolts will loosen slightly after a couple thousand miles. When I put fender back on I used blue locktite and probably torqued down more than...

    Service Manual

I recently bought on Amazon the service manual CD "Manuals4Mechanics.com". Is it just we or what, I find the CD to confusing incomplete, disoriganized and very hard to use. From what I have seen most of the information is in owners manual that comes with bike. As an example I was trying to find...

    Checking Oil

Anyone besides me have trouble checking oil with the screw in dip stick? Well after cross threading and damaging the threads on the plastic dip stick I came up with a solution. 2012 RTL (SE5) will not shift

Didn't realize there are marks for lining up bracket and shaft, your picture shows that clearly. Where did you get the picture? I don't know if mine is lined up exactly but it works and I am not going to mess with it. Also the bolt through the bracket, I realized that it was not a bolt to...

2012 RTL (SE5) will not shift

Update, well got bike fixed today. As you guys suggested had to try a couple different lengths of shift rod to get it to work right. Also I learned something, to shift from 1st to N you have to have foot on brake. Don't know if I just never knew this or just did automatically when riding. Also...
