• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What kind of Trailer do you use to carry your Spyder?

I have a Classic V-nose 7 x 12, it's very low so no problem with bottoming out when ryding up the ramp door. I plan on storing the Spyder in it for the winter, Since the doors have sealed gaskets, I don't think I'll have to worry about little critters making their home in the Spyder for the winter.

    rapid turn signals

When I switched to LED turn signals on my Harley they listed a similar procedure that Ann posted to reset the flashers. They also said that you could just ignore the procedure and the bike will learn the new LED s. I didn't go through the procedure listed and everything was reset on the first ride.

Moving the Spyder in the garage

I park the Spyder under my 4 post lift; I had to use the lift this morning but rather than walk back to the house to get the Spyder's key I jacked up the back wheel, put it on a small furniture dolly and pushed it to the nest bay. Only took a few minutes.

    Trouble free spyders

Picked up my new RT LTD last Monday. Made it about 3/4 mi. from the dealer when it lost power and the "Limp Home" screen came up. Made it back to the dealer and they took it in right away: over heating. They thought it might have an air lock in the cooling system and needed burped. They worked...

    Battery tender suggestions

Been using Battery Tenders for years and never had a problem. Picking up a new RT Limited tomorrow and the Battery Tender harness will be one of the first things that I add to it.
