• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Rodney Dangerfield Syndrome

I've gotten the cold shoulder a few times when I've pulled in to a gas station to fill up or for a break... I'd get a few people now and then come up and ask questions, usually then people in cages, some older Harley, metric cruiser,or other riders who appreciate that I'm just another rider out...

    2015 Can-Am Spyder Line Up

No more yellow/black?? Don't get me wrong, the f3 is nice, but I was disappointed they just slapped on the old style dash cluster. Other than that, I wasn't really all that blown away by the new st/rs/rt color schemes. I believe I'll hang on to my '13 sts for now.

Open letter to a New York truck driver

Sad but true. Most of the big "mega-companies" that train their drivers usually push them into a lease purchase program, in which the drivers are made to believe they are running their own business and operate like they own their own truck, but the reality is, they make less money and shoulder...

Open letter to a New York truck driver

Best thing too would be to report it to New York state police, their commercial vehicle enforcement division has been cracking down, and they can follow up on complaints of unsecured and uncovered loads(I beleive it's illegal to run with and uncovered load in NYS after they have had fatal...

    Introducing the 2015 Can-Am Spyder F3!

A spyder cruiser..... I like it...... I'll give a couple of years before I'm ready to trade in, and they get any bugs worked out.... Besides I didn't get as many miles in on my sts as I had planned this year, too many things on my plate, and it's been a crazy year. Not that I had any problems...

    windshield mechanism

I noticed the windshield sliding mechanism is starting to get a little bit loose when in lowest position, not very much, but wondering if there is a way to get in there to look at what parts may be loosing up in there, maybe a bushing or screw. when in highest postion, (I usually don't use that...

SM5 question for those that shift w/o the clutch

This tip I learned from the "2wheeler" crowd. I always use the clutch, but I learned to "blip" the throttle when down shifting. Basically what this does it matches the speed of the clutch basket (the part of the clutch driven by the primary drive gear on the crankshaft) and the clutch...

Well.. Bikebandit.com doens't deserve any of our business.

I made the mistake of ordering stuff from them last year. I found out the hard way that their fast delivery guarantee only applied when they received the products I ordered from the manufacturers, which meant 3 weeks of waiting. Their customer service dept. is useless, and when you try to call...

Look what I received in the mail

I got it too, unfortunately I have had to put off any further "farkling" until I get some cash saved up, and I gotta use some of it to get my significant other here to our shores, so she can share in the riding.:spyder2:

Looking for someone to ride with in Corning NY Area??

I'm hoping to get mine rolling next weekend... My inspection sticker is expiring as of Monday, but a combination of uncooperative shippers(which screwed up my schedule for getting home) and this ******** snow cancelled any hope of getting into filers so I can get it done and spend my 100 dollar...

    Rear rack bag question

Basically the instructions list the drill bit to use for the holes to rivet the buckles into place. You will need a riveter to put them in. The only negative from the bag that I can see is a little bit of the stitching came came out between the bottom of the bag and the rear strap and that's...

    Sick of winter...

My first ride is gonna be up to the dealership to get my annual inspection. after that near-jackknife I had a couple months ago(I managed to get the rig back under control, thankfully, but scared the you-know-what outta me), I've been more than ready for this winter to finally end.:spyder2:

Whos NOT upgrading to 2014 ?

Keeping mine, haven't had any problems at all yet, had the master brake cylinder heat recall done last fall, looking forward to another season, not really planning on getting more toys or major farkles, more or less recovering from a couple of fraudulent companies I worked for previously before...
