• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    RT Limited to F3 Limited?

My 2017 RTS fits me perfectly. I like the looks of the F3 but appreciate the storage area of the RT. I tend to take long trips so it's needed. Just enjoy whatever you ride. It's all about the ride anyway :doorag:

    Belt Damage

I put the belt guard on my 2017 RTS after replacing the belt due to a small stone tearing up the belt. Now have 23,000 plus miles with no problem. It is the missing part for the Spyder

Being more accepted. What a difference two years make

I've ridden since I was 12 years old so I feel I am part of the riding community so I wave at other riders regardless of the brand of ride. I have noticed that more of them return my wave than a year or so past. I'll keep on waving at all riders. :doorag:

    Speedometer inaccuracy

I rode Yamaha Road Stars for years and they were all at least 5 MPH off. I put the General Altimax on the rear of my 2017 RTS and now the indicated speed is only 1 MPH off :doorag:

Are there really THAT many differences between the Spyder and two wheels?

After 60+ years on two wheels I still found the learning curve on the Spyder quite a struggle until I read a few blurbs from more experienced Spyder riders. I relaxed and put on the miles. After 800 or so miles, I was more relaxed. Now have 21,000 plus on my 2017 RTS and am relaxed at highway...

    Motorcycle campers and the RT

Currently pulling a Roll-a-Home with my 2017 RTS. Over 20,000 miles on the Spyder. Most of it with the trailer. This is my 3rd camper with a total of over 80,000 miles. Just be aware of the need to stop. :doorag:
