• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    garmin 2597 is bad

I bought one for the Spyder today, and the suction cup mounts easily on the windshield. I have short length of line that serves as backup. I'll send a picture sometime. But... I set the Garmin to AVOID HIGHWAYS, then set up a trip from Seattle to Portland. It is a 3 hour ride, but it shows...

    Installing a CD player

CD PLayer I think it would work. They have/had CD players you can use while jogging, and these days a cheap CD player sells for about $30. At that price it's worth a try. As someone said... aux input with the headphone jack cable that came with my RT. Even use a cigarette lighter cord to...

    Thank you

I just wanted to say thank you to all the people who post regularly here. As a newbie many of us are spending more money than we have ever done before for a vehicle, and we've all seen a horror story or two. The feedback and advice makes that a bit easier! Bryan

headset Thanks all for the info and support. My headset is the Sena 10. At this point I only have one, using it for the cell phone function. I haven't read all the directions yet, so there are a few oddities, but it works well. Now to go tackle that manual and see why it doesn't ring...

    New Special Series RT

lover not a hater The Spyder has grown on me even more. As I drive more, and I am at about 250 or 300 miles in the first two days, I like it more and more. Drives well... really well. I had a great experience with Pro Caliber in Vancouver with my purchase, and then when I decided to...

    New Special Series RT

I know people get new Spyders every day, but just an update for those who will head down this path soon, too. Picked it up near Portland, Oregon, drove it to Seattle. I stopped about every 50 miles, and kept it under the speed limit.. as it is break in time..and, riding a new Spyder home, my...

    I pick it up tomorrow!

Out the door soon I slept so so last night. Pretty excited! So far I've had insurance quotes of $100 a month. Ugh. I had my first claim in 25 year,a parking lot accident, three weeks ago. Ugh again. NO speeding tickets in at least 25 years. I drive like an old man...most of the time.

I pick up my 2015 Can Am Spyder RT-S Special Series tomorrow. I'll take the Bolt Bus at 8am here in Seattle, arriving in Portland Oregon about 11:15 or so. A friend will then bring me to the dealer. I won't get into price here, but those crazy low prices in Chicago and Florida helped me get...
