• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Did some fun traveling and Ryker rides last couple months.

Finally, the first part of April my wife and I attended AZ Bike Week in Scottsdale for the first time. I hauled the Rykers to the venue (Westworld), where we camped for the weekend. Attended concerts, went on a group ride and visited all the vendors. On the last day I also took a Ryker ride...

Did some fun traveling and Ryker rides last couple months.

After a few days, I loaded up the Ryker and drove down to Palm Springs, camped in the back lot of a casino and attended a session of the professional tennis tournament in Indian Wells. I also went on a fun Ryker ride on the hiway that goes to San Diego. It takes you on a cool trip up over the...

Did some fun traveling and Ryker rides last couple months.

While camping in the Alabama Hills, I also took a Ryker side trip to Death Valley, about 110 miles round-trip. I had never been there before. I drove down into the valley to Panamint Springs, it was a fun ride.

Did some fun traveling and Ryker rides last couple months.

At the end of March I hauled my Ryker to a place I have wanted to camp at for awhile: The Alabama Hills in California. I know that sounds weird. This area is on the east slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountains, just outside of Lone Pine, CA and near Mt Whitney. Apparently the area was first...

New owner of 2 x 2022 Ryker Sports!

Oh and btw, the key fobs on my 2 Rykers are not inter-changeable.

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Last weekend I installed new 3D LED headlamps from Slingmods. I have only done a little night riding because I was not very impressed with the view the OEM headlights provide. I got instructions from the video on the Slingmods site, and also a couple of Youtube videos. I decided to make it...

New owner of 2 x 2022 Ryker Sports!

Congrats on the new bikes, Niteryker! My wife and I did the same thing in 2020 with two Rally's. Today I just turned over 4,000 miles on my Ryker, while she has 500 miles on hers:p

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Yesterday I installed BajaRon's sway bar links on my Ryker and my wife's. Will take it for a spin this weekend and see how it does.

Any difference between various versions of Jockey Shifter?

I have purchased a few aftermarket parts for my Rykers, and it is good to have manufacturers that innovate and give us various options. But there is a way to easily just rotate the shift pedal 30 degrees clockwise. This makes it so easy and convenient to just use your shoe to get into reverse...

    New Trailer

Ha ha. Ya, it only took me 12 harrowing attempts of backing my Ryker up my steep toyhauler ramp before realizing that the Economy mode was the way to go, but I finally figured it out :banghead:

Does Your Ryker Idle Seem "Rough"

Ya, both my Rykers idle like that. Sometimes when waiting at a red light, I find myself reaching my hand onto the handlebar grip to steady it so I can get a better non-vibratory glance out of the rearview mirror.

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Oohh, I don't like to hear that. I've been considering those end links, and any mods that I perform on my Ryker has to be simple! Two days ago I drove my motorhome to central Phx again for some suspension work that would take up most of the day, so I hauled my Ryker along and took it for a...

    New Trailer

Rules like that drive me crazy. HOA communities wish to create a persona of signs of affluence, which is exactly what recreational toys are. Those Erickson chocks look like a nice clean method to secure the Ryker. One thing I have noticed to be helpful when driving my Ryker up the ramp of my...

Something I thought was pretty cool.

That's cool, Greg. I love stuff like that. Thanks for sharing. The plate from Nebraska is 15 county, which is Lincoln county, so prolly North Platte. Just in case you were wondering;)

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Just got back today. Here is a photo from yesterday of the road that goes toward the summit of Mingus Mtn, from the pass. Last time I was here I don't believe this was paved. At the summit (7800 ft) there is a cliff that has a hang glider launch. It's now a real fun ride, you can see the...

Ya, nice road Chris. Looks very similar to what I'll be ryding this weekend on Mingus Mtn.

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Today I had a noon appointment across town to have my motorhome looked at, and thought "Maybe if they decide to work on it today, I'll be stuck there, so I'll take my Ryker along just in case. That way I can unload it and go for a ryde, especially since it was such a beautiful 80 degree day...

    Shift handle for Rykers

Ravensrest and Rydernow: Thank you for that tip about moving the shifter 30 degrees  You are right, that makes a huge difference in ease of shifting with using only your foot. Even with my rudimentary mechanical skills I was able to do this. The hardest part for me was getting the...

    Help Removing Skid Plate

Hi Michael. So how did you release the wires that are attached to the rear border of the plate (that are highlighted in my photos)? There are no zip ties holding them, it appears that they are embedded in some type of retaining feature built into the plate.
