• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Speeding? Why?

This is almost a young versus old thing. When I was younger I was always speeding. Now that I have one foot in the grave, not so much. But strange as it sounds, I actually miss the 55 mph speed limit. Bikes ALWAYS got better mileage and there "seemed" to be less accidents. Now you have to go at...

having a Spyder and being Married

My wife, Spyder_Cowgirl, stole my Spyder.:banghead: After crashing 20 years ago on her "very custom" BMW K75LT" she hung it up until I brought the Spyder home so I could have something to ride when I didn't feel like holding my hog up after my accident. But I got my riding partner back!!!!!

    Your top speed on Spyder?

Got to 104 in a mile stretch. Was rather disappointed. But that was when it just had 300 miles on it. Have no idea if it would do better now but I sorta doubt it. It appeared to be all in.

    Text Color , changing

I just discovered I'm the cause of this. I have a widget that controls what colors are displayed and apparently it is working overtime and changes more than just displayed colors. Guess I get to spend the day trying to figure out what part of that widget is trashing Spyderlovers. Turn that...

There is a Spyderlovers Facebook page! Did you all know that? I announced the map there as well. Not sure it gets much activity but just trying to cover the bases. Still wish Lamont would reconsider making this a "sticky". But as long as folks keep bumping, that works. It's just what well happen...
