• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Fender lights

Reggy is top notch, for sure! And it is one of the best mods that anyone could do... in Linda's case, it was me, LOL. They do look totally awesome! TricLED's Fender Lights are one of the cheapest, most killer looking mod that you can do to your bike in such a short time.

Do you leave your helmet on the bike?

It depends on helmets in use and our location. We have Sena's in our modular, but I rarely wear mine. Even in cold weather ryding I'll put on slim ear muffs and a face mask and wear my half shell. If I have the video cams on my helmet I'll take them off and store them in one of the trunks. Here...

    Prescription Eyewear

I have been a big fan of Wiley X glasses. Mine are polycarbonate and I also use them as tactical glasses. The U.S. military is also a big fan of them. The best prices I have found have been through www.framesdirect.com and you can usually find a coupon code to save you a bunch of $$$. My last...

    air filter change

You can't run a paper filter if you have Ram Air Induction on your bike. The excessive force that the air comes in will shred a paper filter. I use the Green filter for that reason.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTTY (NANCY'STOY)

Against your wishes, I would've sang 'Happy Birthday' to you the other night on the phone, had I known. Happy 45th!!!

    Wax/Polish

I like Rejex for colored parts and Back to Black for the black plastic parts. Other than that, I use a spray bottle with water in it. Also like Back to Black for tires, product.

Garmin weirdness - I never expected this.

I was leery of the proprietary set up of the Garmin/BRP marriage and price, just in case what happened to you happened to me. I have a Garmin 2555LMT Auto being delivered tomorrow and all I'll have to do is to put a 12v cig lighter through my speaker grill. The voice is loud enough to hear...

Mounting a Stebel Nautilus Air Horn on the RT

I believe that is the working principle behind the design. Nothing like the look on a drivers face that's texting when I blast my Nautilus.

    Glo Ryders

Come On Folks, Get Real This site covers more than the 50 states and a few other countries, as well. If you're worried about what you can add or not, check your local state's laws. There's nothing more to be said about this issues. It is your responsibility to check on that. Sorry if I sound...

    Glo Ryders

With the new GloRyders it's not really an issue. Since they are remote controlled, you can change colors on the fly. I'd purchase them and ride your bikes to the local, county and state boys (if they are close to you) and show them what they look like. If they say that the red and blue are...

    Pitbull Powersports

I was down there yesterday and they were painting the outside of the store. I believe the phones are now wired, but I doubt that anyone will answer just yet. Lots to do still to get the place ready for the stock that is on it's way. Later on that day...

    Insuring Your Mods

I appreciate your zeal, but Ron's sway bar wasn't available for the RTS at the time. It is still under consideration. I have talked with him on occasion and I know that he's a stand up guy. Even though they weren't listed in my mods, I do have some of his products.

    Insuring Your Mods

I was only covered for $2000 in mods. It does give wiggle room in an argument, though. I did most everything myself, but if I get a labor estimate from Len, I'm sure I can recover most of it. I'm hoping it never comes to that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Insuring Your Mods

At some point in time you will probably acquire thousands of dollars in mods for your Spyder. I called my State Farm agent and asked him what I needed to do to be reimbursed for those items in the event that the bike is damaged, or worse, totaled. His reply was that I would need all of my...
