• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    A catalytic converter converts bad exhaust into good exhaust using precious metals making them a target for theft. The primary muffler on the Spyder is just a hot steel can with chambers. It is not a catalytic converter.

    That was Joseph Golden's post. Those tires are discontinued but can still be found. He said he bought them out of Canada. You will pay more than like a Yokohama S drive. Joseph likes drag racing so he gets the best he can find. They are a good looking tire though.

    I would not unplug it. It would lead to an error and go into Lymp mode. Pop the cap off and put some pipe insolation or fender washers to prevent the button from getting pushed down. Mine no longer gives me problems. I never ride double anyway.

    The flash is guaranteed. If that does happen they will reflash it for free. You just have to pay shipping.I was wondering how many times that has happened. I do not remember any posts here saying it happened.

    That looks reverse of the way its on an F3. I remember the lock tabs in the front side but they are easier to find if you take the screws off first, pull the ECU out enough to turn it just enough to see them.

    The big thing that is seldom discussed on the ECU upgrade is the improvement in shifting. There IS a big difference. Back in the day we called a power shift what we do to pass. It is not a up shift, it is a down shift and go.

    I rode once with my wife when I had my STL to church. It was very difficult to handle and brake. I would not recommend riding over the weight limit. It is not fun and also not safe. My wife now has her own F3L also and it is much more fun that way.

    Its hard to find non ethanol gas but I try getting it every chance i get. Here in Texas we have Buc-ee's and they have 92 octane non ethanol that is priced the same as mid grade but is labeled as regular.
