• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Mechanic Certifications

ASE certs are quite expensive,I paid for training for 4 techs to pass the test and the test itself which is not hands on but usually done at a training center and can be quite difficult especially for the sections dealing with engine management. These tests take many hours and are done at night...

    Mechanic Certifications

ASE certs are done on a regional basis and have nothing to do with garages or dealerships. Now many dealers or garages will pay to send their techs to training classes to get them to a level where they can do their job well.ASE certs have been around for a long time and are considered to be an...

Windshield question - why return to lowest position when turned off?

My 17 rtl doesnt have that feature but I always find myself forgetting to put the shield down which does make it a little harder to put the cover on.I do think it would be more wear and tear on a slightly problematic system anyway but if they could have made so you didnt have to start it just to...
