• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Rust dust

Pete, I ride my F3T here in W.A. I check the front pulley regularly, (never removed it). I have never found any signs of problems and of all the Spyder owners I know (many) I have never met anyone who has had this problem.

    BajaRon Service

I had a problem with an item provided by BajaRon. I can't tell you how much Ron did to resolve the problem, and how quickly. Kept me informed all the way and resolved the issue in 4 days. If only all suppliers could provide this service, how much better life would be. Much appreciated. Baz

    Can you believe it ?

Finally changed all 3 tyres myself, Kumho tyres. Total cost, $480 same as dealer quote for 1 Kenda. First time for me, Rear, 2 1/2 hours to remove, 2 hours to replace. Did not disturb belt adjustment.

    Can you believe it ?

I have considered doing it and am capable. I am leaving on a trip next week and was sort of considering having it done for me, I have a lot on my plate just now. My comment was on the ridiculous charge to fit a tyre.

    Can you believe it ?

Asked local dealer about fitting car tyre to rear of my F3T yesterday. No chance but they will fit a standard rear, cost, $480 !! Shame because they have been good up to now.

    Rust dust

I just yesterday had a dealer service and asked them to check the pulley ( I check it occasionally and have never seen a problem). They reported no problem at 14000km, and they also told me they had never seen a spline failure. Why wouldn't I believe them ?

    F3T user power circuits

On my 1917 F3T there are 2 user circuits. I have never been able to get these working. There is a fuse in the No 6 position in the right fuse box, which is the designated user supply. I need to use the user plug under the passenger seat, but no way can I find volts there with switch on or off...

    Need a New Grill

I did exactly the same thing, same damage. I fixed it using the old superglue and baking soda trick, followed by spray can paint. Can't see any damage now, and very cheap fix.

    Here's some New Kenda Tires!?!

I read and re-read all these posts on tyres, and yet I don't have all the dramas with tyres which I read about: I have had my F3T for 2 years, still have original tyres. I have covered 13,000 kms. I ride twice a week, usually on roughish country roads and some freeway riding. Highest speed I...

    clutch problem F3T

Got the F3T back today. Riding well (got rid of eco mode), bit less noisy. I asked how the nanny could know about clutch wear.. it measures solenoid movement, too much movement equals too much wear. The service guy told me that he had never seen a clutch worn so much in such a short time. I know...

    clutch problem F3T

Good news. BRP, while pointing out that clutch plates are normally a wear item, have agreed in this case to repair under warranty. Parts are ordered and I should have the Spyder back next week. Baz

    clutch problem F3T

Put my F3T in for a service yesterday and the dealer advised I have a clutch problem. I have never experienced problems and had no fault codes. BRP advised that the clutch plates had worn too thin, and there were 26 messages found by BUDS. Also, it was my fault, I had caused the problem by...

    Replacement Gas Cap for F3T?

A little WD40 in the lock mechanism and a little silicon grease around the seal will fix that in no time.
