• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking to buy a new STS for the wife and need help please

Chris, That price seems very high due to what's going on in the market at this time for 2013 Spyders. BRP is offering a $3000 rebate, and a 4 year extended warranty on 2013 RT models. (research heat issues) Now that is a great deal. Apparently this rebate does not apply to ST's, but you...

Looking to buy a new STS for the wife and need help please

There you go! $17,499 is about right (if it's a 2013). Make sure they don't charge you a delivery/setup fee either. And from what I am hearing (from BRP themselves), they are throwing in an extended 2 year B.E.S.T. warranty on top of the standard 2 year warranty, so you should get 4 years...

I think it was called Top Spoke Rentals in Tempe, AZ. I think somebody told me they had a Spyder for rent.

Looking to buy a new STS for the wife and need help please

There's a place somewhere in Tempe that rents Spyders I think. You could always go that route first to get a feel of it. but without a license it's almost a catch 22. good luck. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk

What Octane Fuel Does Your Spyder Drink Most of the Time?

Very interesting results and comments. I knew this would be a controversial poll. I myself have been using 87 octane the "majority" of the time, but mix it up a bit throughout the month just to give my beautiful Blue Recluse a "treat".... Keep the comments coming, please!

What Octane Fuel Does Your Spyder Drink Most of the Time?

Trying to keep this poll a bit more on the generalized side, not taking particular Spyder models into consideration:

    2012 Spyder RT-S SM5 Gas Mileage Chart

:( I'm meticulous in my mileage record keeping but only getting around 28 or so. How do I get in the 31 zone? I've actually been using 87 octane most of the time as I really don't see a difference between 87, 89, or 91. Snow, what's that?

:agree: I do agree with AZSpyder in regards to the Peoria location. Bottom line is this: if you do your homework, it's not going to matter where you go and who you talk to. Except when it comes to service. Now that's a whole different subject.....

Looking to buy a new STS for the wife and need help please

Hi Chris, Yes, you will need a MC license to drive a Spyder in Arizona, but you will also be able to drive in the HOV lane too! I live in Cave Creek and just purchased a Spyder RT-S a month ago. I visited several of the RideNow dealers in the Phoenix area and none of them "volunteered" any...

Location of 2014 BRP Owners Event???

West? As in Arizona or California West? Phoenix, Phoenix, Phoenix....(subliminal message). Weather should be just perfect for a BRP Owner's Event. 104 degrees average high. I mean, Spyder's love to be HOT, don't they? :ohyea:

Hypothetical ??: Who would buy a new 2013 Spyder if heat issues were fixed tomorrow

So here's the million $$$ question. If BRP came out with a sure "fire" (no pun intended) fix for all these 2013 RT's with heat issues, who would run out tomorrow and buy a brand spankin' new 2013 RT-S for $19K?

    2012 Spyder RT-S SM5 Gas Mileage Chart

2013 Spyder RT-S SE5 Mileage Those are some great numbers you got going on, knarfoh! Can you explain fillup #69 where you got a whopping 40 mpg? I'm including the Fuelly URL for my Spyder. I'm having trouble getting even 30 mpg: http://www.fuelly.com/driver/azlife/spyder-rts It would be...

Rolo Laser Alignment coming to Phoenix Arizona

Sounds good, BLambert. I'll see you there. My appointment is right before yours. By the way BLambert, check your PM. AZSpyder and Spyderdreamer, when are your appointment times? Maybe all us SpyderLovers can compare notes on our cool :ani29: rides while we are there. Any other...

Need a Laser Alignment in the Phoenix area for your Spyder? I do!!!!

Any Spyder Riders left in Arizona? If so, I would highly recommend jumping on the "laser alignment" bandwagon and getting one done on your Spyder while "Outlaw" is in town. Outlaw is going to be in Sedona, AZ for a week in November, but if enough SpyderLovers make an appointment for November...

    HOPE IT WORKS!!

I had my BajaRon anti-sway bar installed this past Saturday at my dealer location. Beware. Turns out that they never did an after market sway bar installation either. Took them over 4 hours and they wound up installing it all wrong. I need to take it back to another dealer in the morning to...

    Spyderhaters Forum

I'm so depressed after reading these threads. I bought a 2013 RT-S last month. Fortunately I only paid $19,999 for it unlike many others that might have paid the full MSRP of $27,400. Yeah, it runs a bit hot, but not too bad. The fun outweighs the heat, at least up to this point. I might be...

Rolo Laser Alignment coming to Phoenix Arizona

I've been wondering if there were any other Spyder Riders around the Phoenix area. I sure don't see very many and the AZ forum group's postings are all quite out of date. I'll have to send an email to the CASE of America to get more info for rides. In the meantime, I hope more people will...
