• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Ryker on Cowboy Bebop

Ok yes I admit it, I'm an anime watcher and have been waiting for the live action version of cowboy bebop. Saw the ryker front silhouette and knew what it was , no question. Cool Easter egg , wondered if anyone else here would catch it.

    Canada to Mexico ride

Not sure if I have seen any one carrying spare gas bottles or tanks on Ryker yet, but have not heard of a trip quite this long (on fun) on a Ryker. You may want to see if one makes sense for you. (Funnel is already there!)

    The Killing Zone

I learned more in the pa rider coarse I took way to many years ago than any training I had been given in a car. They stressed the accident chain principles, and what is contained in the Smith system. I never rode or drove the same, always ahead of where I am , what do I if, do not expect they...

Helmet question from a new rider.

Ok it does sounds too tight, but do not get one too large! A helmet that's too large will not protect as it should, actually increases air noise when riding and will cause you issues over time. A perfect fitting helmet is not easy to get, I actually found a Arai factory dealer, close enough to...

Thinking on getting Corbin seat - your opinion? Lead times?

Love the seats and products they make. I've had fairings , seats and bags. Putting their seat on the Ryker made a huge difference for me. Contacting them in the past was painful, and when you are talking 2k+ for custom items that's concerning. This last purchase for the Ryker seat was nice...

New women rider, looking for advice on riding equipment

Longer someone rides on 2 or 3 wheels the more pieces of riding gear you accumulate. So far you have a helmet that seems to fit, getting one too big is a normal mistake. A jacket you are happy with , and riding boots and gloves. Sounds like basics are covered. Rain gear is a good idea if...

    Peaceful Ride To Nowhere Today

Mosr of my rides are to nowhere. Ride to an intersection, pick a direction at random and just keep going. No stress no time to be somewhere, it's a major reason I ride.

    Frosty Gloves

Winter water proof motorcycle gloves with a set chemical heat inserts and silk glove liners. Used the chem heat inserts for hunting since I was young, so just kept using them. Was out when it's cold, and flurries last Jan. But you the man riding in that weather, nice vid.

    Today was a sad day

Bought mine in Jan this year, and just layered up and rode. Where I would not take out a motorcycle because of road cinders, or possible icey spot, with the Ryker I had no issue. Cold heck yes, thighs and toes get cold, and fatigue sets in faster just like extream heat. But when I can it's a...
