• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Considering an Akrapovič Exhaust for my 2021 S2S - any comments?

I'm considering putting one of these Akrapovič Exhausts (SKU 219401034 ) onto my 2021 S2S. Little leery because of the cost. Anybody using one of these? Any comments?

    Comfort Seat Worth it?

It's OK for the passenger but I find it short for the driver.

Do you leave the Parking brake on during storage?

For me, the type of storage area determined which way I went. When it is 10 below out any moisture on a brake system always concerned me. I have one of my "toy" cars actually have the brakes freeze. If it is heated, it doesn't matter.

    What is ATGATT?

I don't know what planet you live on! I just had a cousin who was killed when he ran into a stopped vehicle and was thrown thru the air and hit head first. He was riding a Spyder. No, I did not even consider the Spyder's inability to not "fall over" in my purchase of my vehicle because that...

    What is ATGATT?

I too have been down and the full face helmet unquestionably saved my life. However, what happens when you hit the road depends on the material of the road. Some southern and western states use fine materials for the finish on the road. Here in Maine the DOT, and others, use granite chips for...

    Learn from my mistake!

I only use my battery tender during off season storage. Otherwise, I use it enough that is has adequate time to charge when running.

Does BRP sell the windshield Vents that are on their 2020+ screens?

I couldn't find one for sale. I finally gave up and bought the tall BRP windshield which does have a vent.

Fobo won't install properly? Any ideas?

I had the same problem (different wheel). I sold the FOBO and bought the Garmin set. No problem.

Another (amazing) instance of poor fit & finish - 2020RT

I watched the dealer assemble my S2S and they installed the windshield. A month or so later I installed the tall windshield from BRP and everything came off the S2S as described in the install sheet. You may have a dealer problem.

Wife getting too HOT 1/2 way thru long rides in the East Coast new heat!

My experience with extreme heat has shown me that you don't get thirsty when you're suffering from heat issues. You get a HEADACHE then NAUSEA because of dehydration. Once that starts you have to FORCE a moderate and continuous amount of fluids while lying in a cool place. Unlike the movies...

Wife getting too HOT 1/2 way thru long rides in the East Coast new heat!

I have been in jungles and deserts with temps at 132 degrees. For me, the best solution has been to stay covered up with loose clothing, drink lots of liquids and keep my head covered. I was in 107 degrees recently and got quite shaking (no fluids). I stopped at a Micky D's, had a bottle of...

    Sea to Sky Maintenance

Don't disagree with you. The dealers around here (two are friends of mine) sell multiple bike streams. Mine sells BRP, Honda and Harley. All of them are refusing to take service customers that didn't buy their product from them (very common practice around here by the RV and watercraft dealers...

New to me Spyder RT - what would you folks consider comfort/safety upgrades?

Yesterday I happened on a car accident. The victims were still in the car and the bystanders had called 911. A nurse was on the seen and was frantically searching for a first aid kit. I gave her mine. In retrospect you might want to add a small first aid kit to your Spyder.

Sea To Sky Highland Green Color Code?

Please post it when you get it. I would like to know also.

    Sea to Sky Maintenance

It surprises me any BRP dealer would be doing any unscheduled service such as a 600 mile service. Dealers around here are now booking into September. It is very difficult around here just getting the required services done vs nice to have.

Tired of the sissy wave by other riders

I don't give a damn who waves at me. I wave at everyone and watch the road.

    Adjustable Handle Bar Caution

Before I had my S2S delivered I had the BRP/Garmin unit installed. After a really long ride recently I decided to purchase the BRP adjustable handle bars and have them installed. However, to make sure they were all compatible, I checked with the dealer parts guy who called BRP to make sure...

It works for me because I have a Neotec II. I just lift the face up, drink and then close the face. So far it works well.

    Motorcycle Camelbak

I decided to go with the Motojug. I would appreciate any pictures of the Motojug installed on your machine so I can get an idea how to do a Spyder. Their info on Spyder's is on the light side. Thanks.
