• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    You posted this in the F3 forum. Are you talking about F3's or RT's? Other than colors I don't believe there are any differences between the 2020 and 2021 F3's.

    If your 2014 is like mine, there is one worm gear clamp and that's where my cold-weather-layover leak was coming from. It's at the top of the water pump on the right side of the bike.

    You don't need to start the engine to release the parking brake. Even if there's not enough juice to start the engine there should be enough to release the brake.

    Assuming you're keeping the bike and assuming it's the original OEM battery, just get a new battery for it. After 8 years, it deserves it!

    Google maps does allow you to download maps for offline use. There are many places here in upstate NY where I don't have service but maps still work fine (minus real-time traffic.)

    Thanks Nikit. I eventually stumbled on this myself. That "go to Settings then hold the joystick to the right again for 1-2 seconds to actually enter the settings" was the part the manual left out.

    They may not have changed it. My 2014 ST came with Oetiker clamps all around *except* the hose coming out of the top of the water pump. That had the worm gear clamp *and* it did leak once or twice early on, especially when the temperature really dropped.
