• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Are Spyder sales Declining Fast?

Bombi won't dump the Spyder, but they will refine it and I do expect shaft drive to be on the next iteration of the Spyder, also look to see an electric Spyder. In the vid below at the 2 minute mark you will see an electric Spyder behinder the Commander :ohyea:

    Are Spyder sales Declining Fast?

The Slingshot is a blast, I put 170 miles on one last fall following a friend who was on a GW and we hit some great hilly and curvy roads, what I didn't care for was cresting hills with driveways with my arse only being few inches above the pavement, I like the head position on a bike much...

    Interesting backstory on BRP

At the 6:40 mark refrencing 1970 "Bombardier breaks 90% market share" :roflblack::roflblack: Cat dominated the 70's sled market, other than the nonsense about Bombi with 90% market share the vid was great!! Gotta go with a Cat vid now, Elsner campaigned the #1 sled in 79 as the 78 SnoPro high...

    Catastrophic failure

The tire was used up and probably bubbled, thus the wobble you experienced. I'm not defending Kenda but I have had GY Eagle F1's, Michelin Pilot Super Sports on various cars, 12-18,000 miles is what you get out of a soft compound ultra high performance summer tire, these Kenda's seem to be more...

    vredestein quatrac 5 tires

I don't know about the Yoko's but I know that my Pilot Super Sports turned into hockey pucks as the temps went south of 40*F, they call them ultra high perofrmance summer tires for a reason.

Any pics/advice on Loading an F3 onto a trailer?

Here's my F3 on my Aluma trailer, the nose of my F3 does not need the board to clear the ramp with this trailer, I posted this pic last month to show another site member how to make clearance if needed. NOTE: You only need to lift one wheel to get clearance.

Transition from 2 wheels to 3

I rode dirt bikes from a teenager till my mid 30's, and have rode sleds since my teenage years, in any event I bought a used 2014 Honda CBX last year so I could have something to bomb around on locally and run dirt backroads up north, well my only issue with the Honda is that my wife would not...

Thinking about spare fuel container location

This is where we would carry extra fuel on sleds back in the late 90's thru the late 00's, the tank plumbed into the gas tank vent line thus sucking the Tour Buddy fuel first, the company that made them was called Tour Buddy. I suppose there was risk if you piled into a tree, but then again...

Using auto tires on any spyder

Discount Tire would not balance my front wheels, I took them in and all was good until they asked what the vehicle was, I buy a lot of tires from DT so they danced around and said they didn't have an adapter for the balancing machine......the good news is they turned me on to a local shop I...

    Which F3's have Sport Mode?

The Limited has plenty of torque at speed, it's a little soft coming out of the hole, but a brake torque helps with that :shemademe_smilie:
