• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

Talk more with the dealer. I know you don't want to take delivery of a 2022 then park it to sit over the winter, but I think it's a gamble that all the supply chain issues will suddenly be fixed for 2023 models and they'll ship without any delays.

2022 Base RT wind swirling behind windscreen - any fixes or advice?

I watched a video on the science of buffeting on a motorcycle. If a windscreen is too high, the air-pocket vacuum can be moved behind the driver and cause the "being pushed forward" sensation I'm feeling, so I'm going to try lowering the windscreen (raising it while going down the road was the...

2022 Base RT wind swirling behind windscreen - any fixes or advice?

I got my 2022 base RT a couple of weeks ago and just passed 300 miles on it. At high-way speeds (above 65 MPH) the wind goes into a swirling pattern and I actually feel wind pushing/buffeting my back. The first time I jumped on the freeway I was surprised because I've never experienced anything...

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

The waiting is painful. My Spyder RT arrived at the dealer in mid-April. In mid-May they told me parts would show up late June. Two weeks later they called and told me parts came in and on June 1 I picked mine up. So I waited about 6 weeks in the end. Did you get an RT or F3? Anecdotally, it...

    June's Weather News

Georgia is freaking hot! Pushing 100 every day, heat index closer to 110 with the humidity. No end in sight for this stupid "heat dome." I've been taking short rides, but I start sweating in my helmet within about 10 minutes. The wind doesn't offer any cooling--it's more like riding in a blow dryer.

My module finally arrived and I took delivery of my new Spyder!

Wow--sounds like the dealer wasn't as thorough as they should have been!

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

I'm back on the road, everyone! I sold my Ryker at the end of February anticipating a March delivery of my Spyder, then it got caught up in the delays. Anyway, I got my 2022 RT delivered today and it was so nice to be back on the road today! Wind therapy for the win!

Seems like a great trade! Enjoy the new ride.

    2016 F3-S vs 2022 F3 - Not sure which one to buy

Depends on where you are--I've seen them in stock at dealers around me (the local mega dealer group has 2 F3-S and 5 RTLs in stock and ready to go). The used market will change quickly as the 2022s (with all the parts) start showing up on more dealer floors. For the original question, I'd go...

Anyone received their 2022 Spyder or news on Delivery, Delays, & Omissions?

Mine RT has been sitting at the dealer for 6 weeks. They think the parts should show up the first week of June--so maybe next week I'll get mine?

Tired of the sissy wave by other riders

I've never seen this so-called sissy wave, and I've been riding for almost 20 years and across 3 states (California, Arizona, and Georgia). I do the same arm down, 2-finger wave I've always done and 90% of riders do the same--no different on the Spyder than on 2 wheels. For whatever reason...

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

I'm crossing my fingers that my wait will soon be over. About a week ago my dealer told me the parts for my RT were delayed to June 22, but just told me the other day that the shipping list now shows first week of June. So maybe if I'm really lucky I'll be riding again by the end of next week.

Opinions requested on sale price for 2014 RTL

It's worth whatever someone will pay--which is more than normal lately but I'd check NADA if I were you. However, don't expect to get a premium for customizations and accessories.

Utter frustration - are dealers taking advantage of shortages?!?

Yes--people are taking advantage of the situation. It's not as bad as people selling cans of baby formula for $100 on eBay (Spyders are toys, not a necessity for life for some babies), but it's bad. I've seen "gently used" ones selling for more than new. Your best bet is to find a fair dealer...

    BRP Riding Course Price Increase

The MSF Basic Rider course costs $275 - $300 around me, depending on where you take it. For me, learning to ride safely is definitely worth the cost--but my guess is with all the other extra raw material and supply chain charges BRP is dealing with right now, they decided to stop subsidizing the...

My 2022 Sea to Sky is IN

Congrats to you—but this frustrates me with BRP. Mine has been sitting at the dealer for over a month waiting for parts, but BRP is installing them on new production instead of shipping parts to dealers? Dealers want to get out of the warehouse business as much as those of us waiting want...

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

I’m getting annoyed that my RT has been at the dealer for a month and is still waiting for parts, while other people are saying “my trike wasn’t missing any parts when it arrived” or how fast parts arrived. Is BRP not keeping track of the inventory sitting at dealers waiting on parts?

BRP GO - Bluetooth not working fx? Lemon Law or Class Action Lawsuits?

Having signed the cards I've gotten in the mail for class action law-suits in the past, it's not worth it to me. IF a suit was successful, then lawyers will take money from BRP and everyone else will get a check for less than $20. And your Bluetooth still won't work the way you want, and BRP...

Anyone received their 2022 Spyder or news on Delivery, Delays, & Omissions?

My RT wait is over three weeks - still missing reverse and windshield motor. I checked with my dealer yesterday and still no word from BRP on when they'll ship. "Should be soon" is all they could tell me.

Traffic Light Road Sensor and the Ryker

I never had an issue with a Ryker (although I have with motorcycles). I can't answer about running red lights--probably depends on local laws.
