• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Next Rydes

The last "Caswell Riders" hosted event is Oct 22 in Mora. It'll be a morning of ryding followed by a season ending Pot-Luck lunch. But I like ryding too much to wait until then. Therefore, I have a couple more rydes in mind. This past Saturday, Sept. 10, was an ad-hoc, short notice, nearly...

Kitchen Pass, Need Fellow Riders on August 20th

What's a little rain.... Nobody is under any obligation to ryde in the rain. If anyone is uncomfortable, or anticipate the ryde to be un-enjoyable, then they are free to make their own decisions. Personally speaking, I have rain gear and don't mind the wet. I still plan on being at the...

Kitchen Pass, Need Fellow Riders on August 20th

Destination: Soldiers Walk Memorial Park, Arcadia, WI Les and I were talking and decided that Soldiers Walk Memorial Park (http://www.soldierswalkmemorialpark.com/) in Arcadia, WI would be a good ryde. Although, not a direct route :D. Point Douglas Park, across the river from Prescott, WI is...

Kitchen Pass, Need Fellow Riders on August 20th

Ryding I'd be happy to join you. I have a number of routes in mind. What's your pleasure? * Touring mode? - with feet up on pegs, cruise control on, and tunes blaring? * Challenging twisties? I found my new (local) favorite road in Wisconsin last weekend. County Rd's J and SS...

Smackdab Summer Solstice Run –*Kansas to North Dakota!

Spyderlover Representation I did my part this year to ensure that a Spyderlover made this years Smackdab Run. Last year, I believe, there were 4 Spyders, out of the 15 that rode. This year, my Spyder was the only one. I was joined by a Harley, a Honda, a Kawasaki, and a Yamaha. We stuck...

    June Caswell Ride

Bring Cash Thanks Paula. Just an FYI to everyone: If you wish to make a purchase at the candy store, their cash registers don't take credit cards. Cash or check only. They do have a couple cash machines onsite (for a fee). They do have many other items besides candy, in case anyone is...

    2015 Fall Flood Run

It made the local news http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2015/09/19/for-30k-motorcyclists-at-fall-flood-run-safety-a-primary-concern/ If you watch the 2:10 video, you will see a yellow Spyder at the 1:35 mark. No, I don’t know them. Out of the estimated 30,000 bikers, I encountered 17 other...

    2015 Fall Flood Run

Are there any "Caswell Ryders" interested in ryding the Flood Run this Saturday (19th)? http://www.floodrun.net/ I believe I heard there were an estimated 30,000 bikers during the Spring Flood Run earlier this past April. Jim&Teresa, along with Patrick and myself stumbled upon it in April...

Not all of us could fit in the staging spot allocated. Some of us were waiting on a side street ready to join the others when they passed by.

    Update on Butch

RIP Butch My thoughts and prayers go out to Paula and family. I've only known Butch for a little over a year, but feel a great loss. He always makes a memorable warm and friendly impression. I've always looked forward to our monthly Caswell Rydes where I could see his smiling face and shake...

    Minnesota Newbie

Welcome :welcome: I drive up from Eagan for the monthly Caswell Rydes. It's about 85 miles for me. But on a Spyder, the time flies. The group and the rydes are both totally worth the effort.

    Minnesota 2015 Ride Schedule

Farkling The short shield works better than I expected. But I was spoiled from hiding behind the stock shield from the 2013 RTS. So the shorty's gotta go! I know you've got one you'd love to sell me. But I've got my eye on the F4 short (taller than existing), vented (for the option), tinted...

    Wrapping an RT 622 trailer

Color matching I'll let Pete speak for himself and his offerings. But I had to choose from a standard palate of colors. The installer brought out sample colors and we picked the ones that were the closest. They can't match BRP color codes. But I was ok with "close enough".

    Wrapping an RT 622 trailer

Wrap life expectancy Here's what my installer states: "The material has a 3 year outdoor warranty from fading. It should last 5-7 years before you see anything noticeable. Wear and tear is not warrantied. The gentler you treat it the longer it will last. Since this is a seasonal trailer...
