• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

do i really need to install a juice box?

I have a TB and K&N filter on a 2010 RTS and adding the juice box decreased the back firing and popping, but I am still not totally sold on the performance end. I have been considering going to a power commander with the auto tune. The big question is why do you think you need a JB. Is your...

    Road America

Is there interest in putting together a group to ride at Road America. They allow group sessions, but I do not know the price or the equipment requirements. I wanted to just gauge the interest.

    Smoothspyder rotary drive bely tensioner

No belt adjustment is needed, keep the belt at the proper tension set by your dealer and follow the directions for installing the tensioner.

    Smoothspyder rotary drive bely tensioner

It certainly can be done without jacking up the spyder and without taking off the panels. But if you value your knuckle skin and prefer not to weave a tapestry of profanity, I strongly suggest jacking up and removing panels (removing these things is really simple and takes almost no time, I...

    Smoothspyder rotary drive bely tensioner

Have it, think it helps with vibration, would probably buy it again. If vibration through the foot pedals bugs you, this will help. I would not necessarily call it a must have mod, but it is what it is, a relatively simple mod that helps with a relatively small issue with the spyder, belt...

    2012 Wisconsin Road Run

Going to miss this year, BUMMER! That is the weekend of Germanfest and I have a long standing tradition of meeting a big group of my knucklehead friends down at GF on that Saturday. The date must have changed from last years Road Run.

    Home safe

Vickers and I left at 6 am. Lots of fog and hit some fairly heavy rain east of St Louis, the RT did a bit of hydroplaning, very interesting! Home safe by 1:45 pm.

    The 2012 Wisconsin Road Run

Loved this event last year, but I cannot make it on this date. My annual Germanfest trip with some old high school buddies falls on the same day. I am sure my liver would prefer that I go to the Wisconsin Road Run.

Half helmet like HJC IS-2 vs 3/4 or full face helmets

Stevemac: Just a really great post, well written and absolutely point on. We all set our own comfort with risk. It is an individual decision. I live in Harley country, by far the majority of riders around me do not where a helmet. That is not for me. I would NEVER get into it with someone...

I have the scorpion 3/4 helmet and love it. Certainly more wind noise, but I like the wind in my face. I also wear prescription glasses/goggles with it.
