• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do Oil Filters deteriorate over time? OK to use after 2-4 years of storage?

They have definitely been stored in a dry place. I live out in the desert in Nevada. Thanks to all for the responses.

Do Oil Filters deteriorate over time? OK to use after 2-4 years of storage?

This not about which 1 I should use. I have 3 HIFLO HF556 filters. Don't know how old they are. Probably about 2-4 years old. Do these deteriorate over time? Is it ok to use them? I know an engine is expensive compared to a filter.

2020+ SEAT Strut issues - a different solution!

I just tried the spring on the strut thing. Not quite sure how to push the spring, align top of strut, move the seat and then screw it in. It looks like the spring will rub on a body part. Also, it looks weird how the spring would fit up against the strut holder.

    I test rode a 2023 today!

I also have arthritis in both wrist finger joints/etc. Anyway, IF your alignment is the best, you can put it on cruise and if you want you can steer with one hand and maintain a pretty straight line. Control? That is not for me to interpret what your control would be. I only do this when no...

Will Using 87 Octane impact performance?

Well, I filled tank again with 89 and rode about 150 to death valley and back. BTW, it was 100 degrees in DV. Anyway, no ping at all. Also i check my mpg-36. It'll take it.

Anyone removed the Rear Trunk on 2020 RTL & replaced with panel? Miss the storage?

Sir, do you have a pic of your bike with the panel on? I ask because my trunk top is black. I don't particularly like black out here in the desert but don't know if the white panel would be too much white. Thanks.

Anyone removed the Rear Trunk on 2020 RTL & replaced with panel? Miss the storage?

John, I get the duct tape thing. Some of us went camping in Washington state and a couple of us road our MC's. 80's when we left. 38 degrees and raining when we were going to start for home. No rain gear. Only 1 other couple in the campgrounds. They were kind enough to give us some large...

Anyone removed the Rear Trunk on 2020 RTL & replaced with panel? Miss the storage?

Thanks for the responses. I was trying to get a feel of other peoples personal likes and dislikes. I would probably use the panel cus I don't do any long riding. Sciatica is getting the best of me. I would miss the storage if I did trips. Again, I appreciate your input(s).

Will Using 87 Octane impact performance?

Got it. Just needed clarification. As usual I misread your previous post. When you leave one word out (my mistake reading) which is unfortunately happening is I get older. Sorry for any misunderstanding. That's my open apology to the site.

Will Using 87 Octane impact performance?

Wow! Don't share an opinion? What's wrong with an opinion IF it is stated as that persons. Discussions are based on a lot of things, facts, fiction, and opinions. I agree that we should play nice with each other and DON'T criticize someones thoughts/opinions.

Will Using 87 Octane impact performance?

I guess it may depend on where you live, what altitude, and what blend of corn/etc.

Will Using 87 Octane impact performance?

Here we go. I'll probably get negative feed back, but real life stuff proves some times what people/mgfrs say is not allows true. I filled up with 89 octane and guess what? NO ping. I will try using 87 again and then 89 after that. IF I get no ping I will be using 89 from here on. Just my...
