• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Front Sprocket Failure

In my case the bolt was tight so that wasn't what caused the issue. If you remove the cover (3 socket head cap screws from the front and a push pin type at the top on the back side of the frame pipe) you can access the the front sprocket to check the torque. In the picture the cover is in...

Just a minor $1500. Ouch. Flip side is that it is less than a trailer so if a little more storage is all you need.... CJ JAX

    Front Sprocket Failure

Left side of the bike below the front sprocket. My collection of metal shavings that should have made up the splines of the sprocket. CJ JAX

    Front Sprocket Failure

Trust you gut folks, sometimes you get a feeling that something is not quite right. Take a second to check it out. Jumping around on either RT or F3s or F3t left me questioning if I could feel something or it was imagination. Yesterday the splines on the front sprocket had finally worn enough...

    Let there be light

The F3s (2015 anyway0 has a three wire system which throws a bit of a wrench in things. First I picked up a module to separate out the brake and turn signals. With that done I added a flasher module to my extra lights that are actuated with the brake lights. Since the turn signals are using the...

    F3 Saddlebags Work in Progress

Another option might be using an easy bracket and then there wouldn't be anything showing when removed. I haven't used one so I don't know how sturdy they are. I liked these because they are detachable but honestly I like the look and the extra rear lighting enough that I probably won't take...

Playing with the F3s and F3t fenders

Decided to play with the fenders on the the Spyders today. Moved the white fender from the F3t to the F3s but kept the upper black part with the lights to keep the black upper/white lower theme of the bike and saddle bags. The white upper on the lower black fender on the Fst has kind of a tuxedo...

removing sena sm 10 from the cradle

Unplug the middle cable and look below it. If it is li9ke mine you will see a small rounded arm just slightly protruding. Push that arm down and slide the sm10 toward the bike(away for the frunk). CJ JAX

    F3t mirror vibration

This helped me Pulled the rear cover (around the light) off. There are three retainers. OH so glad there is no more playing wack a mirror like my RT. There is one screw one the end away from the bike that hold the mirror assembly in place. The end of the assembly closest to the bike has two...

Thanks Pete. I forgot about Lamont's video and was wondering how it came apart. REALLY glad it isn't like the RT. I hated having to wack that thing to take it off. CJ JAx

    F3t Audio Output

Does the bluetooth dongle work the same way for the F3t audio that it did for the RT? Looking for options on getting audio and gps from the bike to headsets. CJ JAX

    F3t mirror vibration

We picked up our 2016 F3t as a replacement for the RTs and really love the ride. One thing I am not overly pleased with is the side view mirrors. There is so much play in the housing that anything over 45 mph and a newly paved road you don't have a clue as to what is behind you they vibrate so...
