• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    NMN BRAKE PEDDLE REVISED

Grammar and Spelling Actually tat, pretty well all Internet forums are rife with spelling and grammatical errors. I see 'em all, but never comment on them. I have frequently seen "brakes" spelled "breaks", "while" spelled "well", and many, many more. Speaking for myself, I'm not the grammar...

    Need recommended waterproof gloves...

I have a pair of the Aerostich triple digit rain covers. They work like a charm. In forty years of motorcycling, I have never found a truly waterproof glove, but these things work! http://www.aerostich.com/aerostich-triple-digit-rain-covers.html Bruce

    $$$ and Cents

I guess it depends on how many features you want to add to the RS. If you put on everything that the RT has, it would probably be cheaper just to buy the RT, but if all you want is Givi bags, for example, then buying the RS and adding the bags would be more cost-effective. Bruce

**check out the paint job on this Spyder**

    outside winter storage

Tat, if you ever visited northern Alberta in the winter, you wouldn't be asking that question! :lecturef_smilie: The weather there is not fit for man, beast, nor Spyder. Brandy, doesn't your dealer have winter storage available? To me, it would be worth the small monthly cost just for the...

Great meeting you too, Kim. Here are a couple of the pics I took at Lamont's; I thought you might like them. Sorry, rleathen, I think I just jacked your thread! To address your original question, I like to wear my Eddie Bauer neck warmer under a 3/4 helmet. I can pull it up over my chin, and...

3/4 Helmet and cold weather riding

I wish I could say the same about the rain. We rode home through a lot of it, pretty intense at times. I even got to experience the Spyder hydroplaning phenomenon while going through some deep standing water. Pretty exciting. Oh well, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger...:coffee:

Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell Former Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell was (and may still be) an avid motorcyclist. I remember a quote from him years ago, which went something like this: "You can't wear a suit on a motorcycle. Well, you can, but you look like a goof." :D I keep my shirts, ties...
