• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Let the F.A.R.K.L.E.S. begin!!!

Not forgotten---just pondering. Am looking at the Wear Bar Accent from Rick @ Value-Accesories. He says it takes time to get stuff in for the '14 so I am giving him TIME. I hope to have something installed by the end of the month.

    Let the F.A.R.K.L.E.S. begin!!!

USPS website says it is out for delivery. That means somewhere between 4 & 5 pm at the house. Been setting up all the pairings today between the headsets/sm 10 & the zumo 660 GPS. Got all tested and working today. Can't wait to hear it all in the bike. Again, I can not thank you enough for...

That sounds about right in the real world. Out here on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington everything takes a extra day or two. But Sequim doesn't get rain:banghead:

RPMs, Eco Mode and Shifting on the 2014 RT

Noticed every time I pulled into the gargage after a ride that I would smell burnt rubber. Investigation revealed that the belt was riding on the flange of the rear pulley. Aligning the belt causes the rear tire to run straighter thus reducing scuffing/drag. I believe the felt vibration is a...

RPMs, Eco Mode and Shifting on the 2014 RT

You've heard of blueprinting motors?? I just checked and adjusted anything I could concerning the chassis. Made sure every possible adjustment was within spec. But I believe my biggest gains came with getting the rear wheel to run straight and getting the proper amount of air in all 3 tires...

RPMs, Eco Mode and Shifting on the 2014 RT

I have just over 500 miles on my '14 RTL. During the last 100 miles I played around with shift points a bit. Mainly using a upshift point between 2300 & 2500 rpm for every gear. The tranny was happy with that and shifted every time I pushed the paddle. There was never any felt lugging of the...

    Let the F.A.R.K.L.E.S. begin!!!

Settled on a generic flap 18" L X 12" W. Cut 1" off each side to make a 10" flap. Installed using 3--1/4 x 1" metric hex bolts. The top 2 are hidden by the license plate. Sits 6" off the floor at rest--4" with myself on board.

    Shimmying

Yes, I have the same issue. Did the Ron bar install yesterday and that seemed to help the problem. I DO feel small vibes thru the handlebars and I suspect that a laser alignment will take care of my issue. Going to get that done asap.

I am sorta coming up empty on this one. Like the Spyder Pops looks but not near long enough in IMHO. The is one on the tricled.com web site but not 100% on that one. Thinking I might just have to brake down I do it myself. Looking at possibly using this as a base--...

A list and progress on what and where of the following additions to the RT. Since it never rains up here in the pacific northwest, I figured I would put the time to good use---hence the list. NBV-FBV...Say what?

I'am in!! Great looking setup. I am 6'7" and need all the leg room I can get. From the pic with the 6'2" guy, looks like his legs are pretty well extended. How far forward will they go without feet being hit by the fenders? I got size 13 boots. Any idea when they will be ready for sale...

Back at you!! Great machine!! Got #000282 Got a couple hundred on it and all is well thus far. No leaks of any kind. Am smelling something like burnt rubber at the rear sprocket. Thinking the belt needs a bit of adjustment. Keeping my nose to it.

UPDATE 2014 RTL, and 80 degrees

newbie here Just landed a 2014 a couple weeks ago. First tankful yielded 32.8 MPG. Looking for improvement on that. Have located a dealer with new laser alignment equipment and will have that checked out as the weather turns better up here in the pacific northwest. First impression was very...
