• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Come Ride with us ( Joan and Lamont )

2nd day route? Would like to see if I can make it for June 6 for at least half of the day. Problem is that map doesn't match description for that day. Bennington, VT is not on route shown.

How to open dash on RT 2015

Thanks for the specific advice. I was worried there was a hidden screw or tab that I would break off if I just did the two screws.

How to open dash on RT 2015

I've found lots of posts about people adding GPS to their dash, either on top or the gauge area. I've decided to use JTs dash mount with RAM mounts to mount my Zumo. I want to run the cabling to the Sypder's plug-in, either in through one of the windshield adjust holes or through the front lip...

    Something to be aware of

Your baby is sad! Your baby is unhappy because it's not being riden enough - only 380 miles in over a year! So it's throwing a tantrum!

    Jacket

Roadgear jacket Roadgear makes some good jackets with CE armor. If you go direct to their website, they have a pretty good sale going on a couple of their three season jackets. I just got an Xcaliber jacket that was on sale and had a thirty percent coupon code for even more off. Got a...

    Progressive Insurance

Exact same experience I've had progressive for my BMW because that's who USAA referred me to, but they were really high for the Spyder. Geico about half the cost for the exact same coverage. Sorry Flo.

    Life Paint

What about rain? My concern when I read about it was rain. It says that it washes off, so will it wash off in a good rain? That's when I need the reflectivity the most.

Smackdab Summer Solstice Run –*Kansas to North Dakota!

I'd do this ride I grew up in Kansas and used to live in Colorado. If I still lived in either, this would be a fun ride. One of my "bucket list" rides is to follow the Oregon Trail from KC to Portland, OR. Maybe when I retire in a couple of years!

How are mounting blocks attached? I will be picking up my 2015 RT-S one of these days when the snow/ice finally melts here in Massachusetts. In the meantime, I've been scratching the itch by shopping for farkles. I've looked at the SpyderPops grills and was looking for installation...

    Local Darwin Award

Not in today's legal environment I think the guy selling the atv did the right thing to take off. People dumb enough to put put a large ATV on top of an SUV for transport are probably too dumb to listen to reason. Sticking around even to watch could open you to being held to some level of...

Recommended luggage or bag for passenger seat position

Use straps not bungees I recommend that you use straps, not bungees to tie your bag to the spyder. Bungees have an unfortunate tendency to unhook, lose their strength, stretch on a bounce, etc. Then your stuff or the loose end of the bungee ends up somewhere you really don't want it! (Hmmm...

Another Oil Change Thread for the 1330s

I change mine in the fall. I'm new to Spyders, but on my motorcycles, I always change the oil in the fall. I do it right before I put them up for the winter. That way any sludge in the oil isn't settling to the bottom and solidifying during the long sleep.

    Sena 3S good alternative?

Has anyone tried the Sena 3S bluetooth headsets? I usually don't ride in convoy and rarely listen to music even in my car. Mainly, I just want to be able to talk to the passenger and hear the GPS. I am reluctant to spend twice as for headsets if this pared down version gives good sound and...
