• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    175-55-15 vrs 165-55-15

I didn't know if there was a reason that I might have missed in one of the many tire discussions or what. I would imagine that the difference between the two sizes would have little effect regarding hydroplaning. That was my main area of concern. Thanks for the replies!

You are welcome:ohyea: Just a friendly reminder; they had a jingle for their bologna, too! "My bologna has a first name, it's O-S-C-A-R. My bologna has a second name, it's M-A-Y-E-R." Just in case you forgot!:joke: Again, you're welcome!

    My first Plasti Dip!

I think it looks good but it took me awhile to figure out what had been done.

At long last I got to see it! 😁

Monstrosity may be a better description of it! It was set up at the HyVee grocery store in Macomb, IL about a week ago. I just never believed it was an actual operating vehicle. The funniest thing was the guy who walked out of the store and started singing the Oscar Mayer jingle, much to...

    175-55-15 vrs 165-55-15

Going to get a set of Vredestein Quatrac tires for the front of our RT. It seems that most are getting 175-55-15 instead of the 165-55-15 that is the OEM size. I was wondering what the advantages or reasons were for the bigger size.

    Daves Seat

My wife and I haven’t had any problems with toasty buns due to the gel pads since installing them. The sun shines pretty strong in Illinois this time of year but Arizona or the like may be a little different.

Any Yokohama rear tire users? Which?

We have an Avid Touring S, if I recall correctly. Can’t tell you the size for sure right now, we are sitting in Charleston, NC waiting on our connecting flight to Peoria. After we settled on 17-18 PSI for the rear tire it has been great. I would definitely buy it again but I plan on a set of...

Were you in Cedar Key, FL today?

My wife and I were in Cedar Key this afternoon and saw a really nice RT Limited parked on the dock today. Was just wondering if it belonged to a member on here.

    Sore butt and medication?

I got two of Motorcycle Dave’s gel pads for the wife and myself and they have helped tremendously in the search for a cure for TB (Tired Butt). I do take a daily dose of Aleve for my arthritis and I’m sure it helps with all the pains associated with riding a motorcycle.

    RT Mirrors

Got the Magic Mirrors from Lamont and love them. They were easy to install and hold VERY securely. I finally got tired of beating my mirrors to get them on or off and spent the money for them. I just wish I had done it sooner.

    Any RiderCoaches here?

When I took the MSF course in 2016, I had two really fantastic instructors who had a wealth of knowledge they were more than willing to share. They were friendly but commanding when needed and the whole class had a great time while learning valuable skills. The most surprising part of the...
